Fantastic flooring. Looks awesome, wasn't too tough to install.
Installed this in my kitchen on Saturday. Took about 4-5 hours for just over 100 sqft with quite a few goofy cuts. Once you get the hang of it, installation is cake. Only difficult parts are edges and corners where it's difficult to angle the edge into the already installed piece. DEFINITELY get a rubber mallet and tapping block with this. They were HUGE lifesavers.

Great floor, trusted brand.
I wanted an updated look in our den, as it's a first-impression room right near our front door. We contracted to have Home Depot rip out our old carpet & install this beautiful Pergo "Ligoria Slate" flooring. What a difference it makes! They did a wonderful job installing it. I checked every seam & they are all perfectly flat & smooth underfoot. It appears much more expensive than it actually is. We've also used other Pergo products over 12 years ago & love its looks, durability & warranty, of which we never had to use. I anticipate that this floor will be fine even after putting heavy furniture back on it. I believe the website's photos accurately describe the color. My floor tiles all have grays & a light tan/light brown clay color swirled together. Most have about half&half gray & tan, some a little more of one color. All put together it looks very nice & natural. See my before & after photos, & also the close up photos which show colors & seams.

Solid, beautiful flooring
I wanted substantial but elegant flooring that would compliment my carpet, heavy furniture (as seen in the photo) and be easy care as well. This XP Ligoria Slate was it! After researching the product, I found it was priced very well and made in Germany - an added bonus. Installers found it easy to snap and lock together, no need for glue or grout and the result is beautiful. I put it in the kitchen, dining room, entry and den. All of these spaces flow together, so the flooring created a very nice continuity that is super easy to clean with the flooring setting on my vacuum.. The multicolor eggshell finish of the slate shows no dirt or dust and the solid product construction mutes sound very nicely

Love It!
Arrived sooner than expected in perfect condition to my front door. Instructions, guidelines, pictures easy to understand and well written. With the pieces being larger than regular hardwood etc it went down very fast. I plan on using more of this product, very happy with it and would recommend it to everyone.

Easy to Install
I bought this flooring online, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the laminate. I had looked at other laminates in this price range and they were thin and flimsy compared to this. It arrived in great condition - no broken edges - and was a "snap" to install. There were more brown areas than appeared on the picture but I'm okay with that. Best of all, it feels sturdy underfoot - no bouncing like I've noticed on some laminates I've walked on.

Nice upgrade
This is a nice upgrade from roll laminated materials. It has a mordern look. I would like to have more thickness to address the transition from area to another. I did not like the T-molding at all. It is a trip hazzard.

looks great
It's hard to rate the quality or value as the floor has only been down for a week. We will have to wait and see how it holds up. I thought it was a bit expensive at first but it really looks great and if it lasts as long as they say it will be well worth the cost.

Great stuff. Extremely thick so plan accordingly. Has a real natural look and hopefully will hold up over time.

Basement 1/2 Bath
Was looking for ceramic tile originally but was undecided of many styles of tiles. I saw the Pergo XP flooring and liked the slate look. I decided to buy this and after installing it with the recommended vapor barrier I realized that it was easier and less time to install. You don't need a tile saw , just use a electric saw.

PERGO FLOORING
Only laminate flooring to install in any room of your house. Installed new flooring in kitchen, living room and hall. After about 11/2 years had to replace kitchen floor due to excessive ware chipping. We live and intertain in our kitchen "wife and I" .Had Pergo for 16 years in kitchen went with cheaper brand " Lowes" Bad mistake. Don't get cheap do it once with Pergo that's all be done with it.

Looks Good.
A little tricky to lay. Any little bit of material in groves keeps it from snapping together. After 30 days I have had no issues. Seems to be a tough finish and resist marks.

XP LIGORIA SLATE
No complaints. Picked up at store. No damage. Has a really nice locking system. Some say it is not removable but it is. Looks great. No beating the ends to get it to lock in.

Great Fooring
I think this is great flooring. Looks good and seems to be tough. I have three whippet dogs sliding around and it doesn't mark. It has a rough finish so not slippery to stocking feet which is important to me. as I run around in stocking feet all the time and can't afford to fall. I had this put down in the kitchen, utility room, hall and two bathrooms. Surprised that the boards were about 12 inches wide, from the picture I was thinking they were were like 4 inches or so, but still looks good. Easy to clean with Sharp 10 inch sweeper and Bona cleaner. At first I noticed a few marks that looked like dirty, but got use to it. If I ever do it again would hand pick so I don't have those pieces.

    LOVE this floor!
We had this installed in our kitchen/breakfast room along with Pergo Alexandria Walnut on the rest of the 1st floor. It looks great and is very good quality. We debated this for a long time and admittedly I was very hesitant to do Pergo or any laminate - but so happy we did. It's only been in for about 2 weeks but absolutely love it. We have 2 large dogs and it's a bit slippery for them, but holds up well to their paws and messy water drinking. The Home Depot installers worked very hard and did a meticulous job. Highly recommend both the floor and the home depot team.

      Very Nice Purchase
Our flooring looks fantastic. Our kitchen/cozy area/hall/bathroom installation went smoothly. This flooring looks great against our white cabinets, dark blue island, weathered barn wood fireplace, and medium-brown flooring in the adjacent rooms. Nice!

      Difficult to install
I ordered on-line, 3 of the 14 boxes contained damaged tiles. Looked like they were banged up while on the pallet - corners damaged. Not the fault of the product, rather the fault of the delivery/storage facility. The tiles themselves were difficult to install. They would not easily snap together. I had to scrape the connections on each tile with a screwdriver in order to get them to snap together - a real pain. Seems like the tolerances were too tight.

      Wouldn't buy again.
The surface sheen of the boxes varied, which we didn't realize until the floor was completely installed. There is NO WAY anybody would mistake this floor for real tile. Installing it as a replacement floor in an older house presented some issues like how to get it under the trim, etc. The whole method of installing it, the angle up, then snap it down into place, made the last row against a log wall impossible to fit in nicely. Some of the boxes came with damaged corners on the tiles. It arrived in the time-frame promised. If your room is a big open square, it really does just snap together, and installs easily. The instructions that come with it are too simplified to be much help. Also beware that some of the videos on You Tube are misleading in the right way to install. Use your own common sense.

      Love Pergo!!
I bought Pergo for my kitchen 14 years ago. I'm putting the same thing in again. I've never seen anything hold up as good as this Pergo did. Well worth every penny! Love it, love it!!!!!

        worth the investment
We just installed the flooring and haven't had it long enough to determine durability under normal wear and tear or manufacture defects that may surface. We really like the look and ease of installation. This is a nice change from tile or wood and wood laminate.

        Very pleased right now.
Right now it looks great check back in a few years. I had Pergo floor before for about 15 to 18 years and it still looked good and was in good shape. But today I don't really know w/ the manufactures cutting corners today for cost savings.

Looks great, but sounds like "snap crackel pop".
The following is my opinion. I have installed many laminated floors as a home DIY type, the floor looks great buy after more than 1 year some of the seams still "snap" as you walk over them. I thought with time things would seat better but they have not. Maybe the "pros" are better than me for installing this style floor, but I still can't figure how some of the joints "snap" when I walk over them, and others are just fine and yet they all look alike. I e-mailed Pergo and was told that there was not a problem with the design and they recommend I tear it up and reinstall it again, (about 650 sq ft). Even if your a DYI type, you may want to have a pro install this floor. I have also read about this "snap" sound from other reviews. My opinion is if the design is so sensitive to possibly go together wrong and yet in other areas there is no problem, maybe it's not for the average DIY person. But it looks good.
