Ok but need improvement
I have purchased approximately 12 pairs of these pant in the last 4-5 years. This pant is Ok but could your some improvement in material. I have every color and wear them everyday for 8-14hrs. Although I wear them everyday, I don't abuse them daily. They are comfortable and I find the leg pockets better in design than Carhartt ripstop cargo pant. The reason for the low marks is because I only get 2-3 years use out of them before holes start developing in the crotch. I understand that no material will lasts forever. I don't expect a pant to last in the knees or pockets due to use from working in the trades. But to have holes in a spot that every man protects diligently is inadequate. I am a veteran of the US ARMY and have BDU's of the same material, ripstop and never had holes develop in the crotch. I like the pant and have Carhartt ripstop cargo pants as well. I purchased replacements of each brand this past spring at the same time and found both to be made out of the same material in the same country, Nicaragua. I suspect that they come out of the same factory as well. Both brands where the same color green. My pros: Comfortable - The pant rides and moves in good form with body positioning. Design - The side leg pockets are better design than Carhartt due to having pleats to allow the pocket to expand and hold items. Carhartt lacks this feature and it causes the items to drag, ride, or press into your legs which is unpleasant. My cons: Durability - Wear holes in locations not found in other pants. Design - The pant could use 7 belt loops. Carhartt wins with having this feature.

These were once my everyday work pants, no longer.
Just everyday work pants, mowing, house work and average use. My previous 2 pair lasted 3 years. My new pair lasted 2 days. The material on both sides of the front zipper is as durable as a paper towel. Leaned against my tailgate to grab a grocery bag and both sides ripped open. The pants are brand new with no visible wear. Called the number on a previous post and nobody picked up. Very disappointed with such a major Brand like Wrangler.

      Bullet proof clothing
Okay I have tried all the other work clothing and nothing is tougher than the Wrangler Riggs workwear they wear three times as long as the other guys. With a diverse farm raising fish to plums they get beat and I can't be happier thanks I tell everybody how they hold up great job. After two year I patched the pants above the knee and still wear them

Six pairs in one year, all ripped...
Wrangler, I write this review out of desperation. My husband is a carpenter and these pants are comfortable, practical (hammer loop on the right side) and the double knee that holds knee pads is a plus. Within the past year I have purchased 6 pairs of Wrangler Riggs Ripstop and each has torn, some within a month of purchase. With any other product I would easily see the first pair as a good reason to abandon that brand and find something better. The problem is that my husband really, really (obviously) prefers these pants. This is getting out of control and I just ordered our 7th pair online a few hours ago. We want to remain loyal but I'm ready to lose it over the quality here. Why is this happening? What can Wrangler do about it before I completely flip out and refuse to order new pants for my husband?!

          Falling Apart - One Season
These are marketed as durable. After one season I stopped counting at 8 holes that are just developing, not torn, just rotting away. All are around the pocket edges, crotch and along permenant creases the pants got during the first few washes. I was willing to overlook the hard creases but cant work in pants that have holes in the crotch. I am an electronics tech for the forest service. If electronic maintenance is too hard for Riggs you might want to market them differently. No ones rigging anything in these.

            Built to last?
Have Riggs Rangers both pants and shorts, work in landscaping, concealed cargo flaps have disintegrated over the snaps on both pairs after less then a year of use, right back pocket pants have ripped horizontally. Disappointed.

Definatly not made for someone who works.
My husband wore these pants Maybe 4times. He was so happy with the way they looked and fit he only wore them to town. The other day he decided to go out and put gasoline in his motorcycle and got a few small drips down the front of the pants. With normal pants this would not be a problem. With this type of material, the material literally begun to disintegrate. He is pretty disappointed as am I considering the amount of money we paid for these.

The best, most versatile pants you'll ever own!!!!!
The Rigg's Workwear Ranger Pants are the best pants you'll ever own. They wear like iron, almost indestructible, the fit is perfect, and extremely versatile. I wear them working in the yard, riding the motorcycle, or just knocking around town. Doubled knee, ripstop cotten, perfectly placed cargo pockets, and a wide belt loop. I won't t buy anything else but these.

                Good & bad
Good pants, but... 1. The pleather front pocket protector is TOO Thick. NONE of my tape measures can slide onto the pocket nor my Every Day Carry knife. The clip will not travel over the material without help. I actually cut the stitches and remove the brown protector then re-sew the top of the pocket. (see pic) NOW my EDC knife (Benchmade) and tape measure fits onto the pocket. They need different material. 2. I remove the hammer holder. it might be nice for the one guy in the world that uses it but, that's what tool belts are for. That hammer loop does nothing but snag and catch everything I work around. I work on semiconductor machines. I would love to see the hammer holder removed.

                  Great Pants, My everyday choice
I wish the pockets were a little larger. I have them fully loaded all the time. I have to put several small patches of latex tear repair liquid inside the waistband to give a little extra grip to hold them up. Some of my cargo with hard edges causes wear through points after a couple of years of wear, but the latex tear liquid solves those issues as well. There are no better cargo pants on the market!

                    All cargo pockets get used!
I have the 3W060 with fleece Lining and the only worn areas that does not meet my satisfaction is the smallest compartment on the mid thigh smallest phone pocket. I suggest leather outer shield. This would make these pants bullet proof!

                      Great Working Pants
I've bought several of these pants over the years and must say they are very durable and will take a beating. Also, they have a great number of pockets to hold your tools.

                        Size
Levi's and Wrangler size 38 waist are different. Wrangler was much tighter. I don't know why measurements differ like they do. But great quality. Order waist size up

I've been using these pants for work, nearly 8 years. The company has switched to another brand, so I'm purchasing these myself. They are comfortable, durable and wear extremely well

                        Sons - Love
Bought these pants for both my sons. They really like them. They are very durable and well made. One of my kids is very rough on his clothes. These hold up better than any other pants we get for him.

If these are made with 100 % cotton it gets hard after a washing and I ordered navy and the color is black

                          Limited sizing
Great on wear and comfort...only issue is the length/inseam.. I'm 5'7" and bought with an inseam of 30" because most of my other wrangler jeans are 30". I wish they had 28"-29" available for length so I don't wear out the back end of the leg cuff

                            Colour variety in all sizes
I work mostly receiving room duties at my job, and these are great for not wearing out on me quickly. Durable, lasting about a year before wear starts to thin them at the seems. My only real complaint is that they don't come in black or deep brown in the waist size I need. :/ I can go down a size to accommodate, since I buy a little larger than I need anyway, but it would be nice if I didn't have to.

I used to like this brand.
I have worn these pants for several years. I've found that they lasted 6 months on average. They always fail in the crotch/seat area. Also, it seems hard to find any consistency in waist sizes.

Do not buy these... they will continue to shrink in waist and length . Only had a couple on months started out great until washed .

                                  High visibility
I work in sheet metal and love the pants because when I wear jeans, over time, a hole is created at the knee. There is a hole in one of the legs in these pants but since it's doubled layered it hasn't gone through yet. My question is, I like high visibility, do you sell the same pants but with high visibility striping on them? If so, I would be interested in purchasing one.

                                    7 Belt loops, long live!!
I like the line of Wrangler cargo pants because they have 7 belt loops rather than the typical 5. They also fit well, well and are durable. The online pictures of some of the cargo pants show 5 belt loops now, but when I order them, they arrive with 7 belt loops. If I were to receive a pair with only 5 belt loops, I would figure an era had come to an end and might stop buying them. Also, I ordered the slate color of cargo pant expecting a lighter gray to show up. Instead I got a dark green/gray. Upon examining with online pictures, I can see how that might be. But I was envisioning a lighter gray. I already have several pair of green ones.
