Customer Reviews for IDEAL SECURITY Wireless Indoor or Outdoor Siren with Remote Control

I used this as a stand-alone panic alarm inside the house for my mother, who lives alone. Hopefully she will never need to use it, but I feel better about her safety with it installed and the fob on her nightstand. The siren is very loud and the flashing LED is bright. If ever used, it should be enough to send almost any intruder to the nearest exit. It is not the most attractive for an indoor alarm, but I have it tucked behind a plant. I'm considering buying a second siren to mount outside to alert the neighbors.

I returned it. The online description did not say that I would need another device to operate it. So when it came and the package said that I needed another device, I decided I could do without it.

This Siren is a stand alone system and requires on other items, however, Ideal offers other security items that will activate it. I had questions so I called Ideal in Quebec Canada for information and they were very helpful. My wife uses it to call me when she needs help (she is disabled) and it is very loud. The setup instructions were easy to follow. I recommend it.

the instruction to have the alarm sync with the motion sensor did not work so it was totally useless for me and i returned the unit for a full refund.

Looks like a kid's toy and let people know before they buy that there is another part you have to buy

Works close as advertised. Siren loud enough scare bunglers away. Light unnerving blue. However: Need very small screwdrivers in order to access the battery compartments. I have not been able to make the unit work with both the siren and light. will have to paly a bit more with it or the switch may be faulty.

Alarm and light are good. I had a little trouble getting it programmed but finally succeeded. I've tried twice to order extra remotes. It only comes with one. Still can't seem to get a confirmation of my order.

The siren is load and easy to use. With the remote I can turn it on or off.Works great. Thanks,Ron Paris

My only criticism would be that it needs to be louder. It would be nice if you thought it could be heard out in your yard too.

I was disappointed with the security system. It cost close to $200. and only came with enough batteries for 1 sensor. It seemed It also only came with a total of 2 sensors.. This is not a professional type security.

The product performs efficiently as advertised. No problems with the wireless connection.

IT IS A LITTLE BETTER IF YOU PUT IT OUTSIDE BUT I AM NOT SURE IF IT IS WATERPROOF! INSIDE THE SOUND DOESN'T SCARE DEER AWAY RIGHT OUTSIDE THE WINDOW!!! I WOULD SAY IT IS CUTE BUT MORE LIKE FOR A KID!!
