small and cheap for first time users
the green bushes are red and the pic quality is what you pay for

    bought this 2 months ago have 3 cameras up and running 1 camera died already for no apparent reason .will try to return it the angle on the cameras are not very wide wish i had known this up front oh well live and learn

          Save the invoice in the event it must be returned
          After approximately 3 months, the camera quit working. The replacement process was complicated, but the company finally replaced it. I requested to purchase an upgrade for the replacement to match the other cameras in the system we installed, but was refused the request. The camera is ok, but the picture quality is not as refined as the 12003.

            I purchased my Defender unit almost a year ago, installed it myself and I couldn't be more satisfied. The product is great, easy to install and produces clear and bright pictures, both day and night. I ended up getting another camera and plan on purchasing some more in the future.

                    Went out on a limb...
                    I read the reviews about the picture quality of these cameras and did not heed them. I have a kick butt dvr system and thought the system would make the camera better, I was wrong. The camera displayed a grainy picture and was not very detailed. I have one camera hung and did not replace the rest as I intended. At least I can tell if my garage door is down or not. There is no way you can improve the picture quality through the settings on MY system. Good value, just not a quality product. But you get what you pay for.

                    almost worthless at night
                    These cams are hardly better than having no cams at all. I bought these along with a dvr kit from another brand. The difference in the quality is huge. Daytime these cams color is very grey at best. At night you may as well turn them off. Unless you just want to see if something is moving there worthless. No way you can identify someone. I will return these if I can.
