This is a good quality dead bolt type lock that we are using in place of a stick for our back sliding door. It was easy to install as long as you have the proper size drill bit. Comes with two keys.

The lock broke after the first day of use. I am extremely disappointed about that. What broke is a very thin piece of cast metal that is supposed to stop the locking mechanism from coming out of the housing. Bad design and bad fabrication.

Very Easy to install and very durable. Two keys included helped as well.And is easy to push in and turn to lock. Very good fit for my application. Mounted to wall frame by the sliding patio door. Would recommend longer screws to include to go into wood framing studs. I used 3” grabber screws instead of the 3/4” supplied screws, to make it tight and harder for someone to break in! Other than that very satisfactory. Have had it installed for a least a month or so with no issues. Thanks

It was awful! Plunger was to short to replace the brass one we had for years. In addition, when you pushed in to lock it simply popped back. This is an inferior product. I am returning in hopes to find a better replacement. Not recommended!

not heavy duty! works okay for a while, internal parts fail and you will have to replace often if used daily. keyed lock is light duty and easy to pick.

Works great for my sliding door that was installed incorrectly. Easy fix to keep it locked and safe. The key on the lock makes it safer, it gives me a peace of mind.

Waste of money..didn't work

The quality is not great. The key keeps falling out, and it seems really cheaply made.

I installed the lock and it looked great. The first time I used it, when I turned the key to unlock it, the bolt popped out onto the floor. I picked up all the parts and reassembled it, but the bolt just pops out every time I unlock it. I returned it.

The placement example shows mounting on the bottom, most patio doors have leveling screws that interfere. Otherwise, these were exactly what we needed to secure our doors.

I used this for my owner closet (sliding double doors) for my Airbnb. It works great.
