First of all the sizing is based on the size of the glass, not the size of the frame that you’re Putting it over. Secondly, the height of the frame on the glass insert On my existing clear glass, insert was too high to fit the unit. I ended up routing, the plastic frame on the door to lower the profile of the frame on the door. Other than that, it works pretty well, but you’ll probably get condensation of some sort in the winter

Easy install. Love this!

Very easy to add to your doors, and great for a home with pets who want to play with cords/blinds. However, after a couple years and almost the same day, both sets started to tangle. Opening can be a bit of a challenge due to the tangled cords and even more difficult to get them to close completely. In other instances, the blinds completely come off the track, which can only be fixed by removing them from the door and adjusting again.

Amazing product! A feature I loved in previous doors, not wanting to replace the doors for $thousands$ this the perfect add-on for privacy and climate control. 5 min install was seemless as well. Windows have not shown any issues from -30 to +30!

This is a great enclosed add on blind! My mother has dementia and struggles with anxiety. Being able to easily pull down the blind, especially in the evening, on the full glass door, helps her to feel safe. Once we got the right size, it was easy to install!

Highly recommend this product! The installation was straightforward. I followed a YouTube video... even if your not super handy you could install it. The product is constructed well. When installed it looks modern and nice. No more loose blinds flying all over the place when you open the door.

We need something to block the afternoon sun coming through french doors. We didn't want to drill and have blinds flapping every time we opened the door. These are perfect. They look like they are part of the doors.

We are renters, and this is BY FAR the easiest DIY project we have experienced. I was able to install it by myself after a very long, stressful day at work during the 2020 worldwide pandemic (ugh), and I couldn't be happier. Its expensive, yes. But its so worth it. I recently attempted to replace our bathroom faucet and shower head, and both projects proved to be so frustrating (considering we are renting an older place). But this was a piece of cake. I will definitely be purchasing more for our other windows and doors. And as an added bonus that can’t be adequately expressed....as a renter, the task i dread most when we move out is cleaning the blinds. But with this product, the blinds are encased between two panes of glass, genius!! It looks great and is an easy, non-permanent improvement. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Just bought these, and I love them. SUPER EASY to install, took me 15 minutes (including cleaning the windows). It's gives a nice clean look to my garden doors and I don't have to worry about my pets getting tangled in cords or damaging the blinds. Brilliant product!!

My wife and I could not be happier with our new ODL Add-On Blind! Ordering from Home Depot's website was easy, and free shipping was an added bonus! The product arrived well before the expected date, and was in good, unopened condition. When I noticed that it was missing the installation hardware (brackets and spacers), a quick call to ODL Customer Service got quick results. The manual says to call ODL directly as opposed to the vendor, and they certainly back their products. Installation was as easy as other customers tell it. The blind looks great, blind up and down action is smooth and very light blocking when fully closed. The whole installation took less than 15 minutes, and looks fantastic!

If you live anywhere that temperatures get cool or cold, do NOT buy these! I bought 3 last Summer for our patio doors. When the temperatures began to cool, we noticed condensation on door glass and of course, when the weather got really cold, ICE!! Now it is just a matter of time before I have to replace the doors. SUGGESTION: remove the original door glass inserts and replace them with new inserts that have built-in blinds. You'll save $$ in the long run!

I purchased 3 of these for a bay area, to cover one door in the middle of 2 windows. They are PERFECT. When the blinds are open they are almost invisible. But when the sun sets and blinds us at the table, closing them does the job. They look like they are part of the windows and door. Why didn't I do this 9 years ago when we built the house???

The enclosed blinds arrived in perfect condition. They were easy to install and the instructions were clear. Love the look. Now my cat can enjoy looking out the window without destroying my blinds!

Good quality, took about half hour to install. Looks great and was a nice option so I did not have to replace the glass insert.

This product saved me $5,000 for a custom french door. As a homeowner this this is by far the best enhancement value for the dollar. I purchased an ODL blind for our garage entry door and was so impressed with the product I ordered two more for my french doors. It adds a level of aesthetic to the room that. you can't even imagine until you see it for yourself. Pros: - The added layer of glass dampens sound from outside. - You can operate it with one hand and nothing ever gets tangled or twisted. - Cordless - Never have to clean blinds again Cons: - I didn't find it sooner Measuring: To insure a proper fit, measure the outside of the window frame and deduct 2" from the width and height. Don't go with a different size to get a better price point because it will not work properly. There are clips that secure the blind to the existing window frame. If you order the incorrect size, these clips will not make contact with the frame and the blind will not sit securely against the door. From what I can tell, the price points are set to the popularity of the product size and not the amount of material in the end-product. Installation: - I installed the blind by myself in less than 20 minutes and the instructions are spot-on. With two people it could probably be completed in less than 10 minutes. - You should not have any spare parts when you are finished. Don't skip inserting the spacers at the bottom as they also act to keep the blind in place. Installation Tip: Clean the door glass and the inside of the blind glass just before you install the blind. You will not be disappointed. Value: - You can search the internet high and low and you will not find a better price for this product than at Home Depot. Overall: This product deserves 10 stars and a product of the year award.

Very easy install and it looks great. I was worried about the blinds making noise when we open and close the door but they do not. Only concern is the slide that lifts and lowers the blinds is hard to move.

LOVE IT!! We got the 22'x64' at first which was too big for our doors even though our doors measured 22', but when we reordered and received the 20'x64' it fit PERFECTLY! Shipping was fast, it was super easy to install, and it looks great! Best part is our kids can't play w the blinds and we have privacy! Highly recommend!!

Excellent product. I like the flexibility of opening/tilting the slats to filter in a little bit of light or rolling the blinds all the way for more light.

Easy installation, looks great, works perfectly... Exactly what we wanted and expected...

These enclosed mini-blinds are perfect for the multiple french doors throughout my home. They are easy to install and no more rattling of simple blinds over the door or way for the dogs to get to them. Or the expense of replacing all the doors with new doors with the blinds fitted inside the glass panes. The light control is fantastic and you hardly know they are there when fully raised. I also like the added security and a bit more insulation they offer by providing an additional layer of tempered glass over the french door glass panes. They finally offer a narrow 10" wide blind that fits the sidelights on my patio door set, too, so perfect for my needs and I could finally finish the last of the doors I wanted covered. Only drawback is they do interfere with lever-style door handles by a fraction of an inch. I don't think the frame for the blinds could be made any thinner and still work as well as they do. The extension kit for the door handle costs more than these ODL blinds, so I just opted to refit the door lever pointing the opposite direction by drilling an new hole for the set screw that holds the handle in place on my particular lock set. A little funny to get used to at first, but I think of the $$ I saved each time I reach for it. And, better than having to go out and buying a round door knob to use instead, like their directions suggest, since I like the convenience and look of the lever-style handles. I also had to modify one of the blinds on the side to clear the deadbolt and handle escutcheons. ODL conveniently builds in a small plastic piece along the edge that can be removed for that reason, but the piece is about 15" long. I only needed less than 1/4" depth and 2" in length in two spots for clearance, so I just used my Dremel to trim just enough away to clear the deadbolt and handle rings, then put the full length trim piece back in for a custom fit. I had to do a couple doors at a time for affordability and waiting for the narrower sidelight to be available. The oldest ones have been in place a couple years now without any problems. I highly recommend these ODL Add-on Enclosed Blinds.

Cost vs product was excellent. Fast delivery, easy install looks great, very pleased with this product, have recommended to everyone who has visited our home if they had any door windows they needed to cover!

Absolutely love the enclosed blinds! Great product and fairly easy to install. Bought one to try since we have cats that keep biting and scratching the exposed blinds and went back and got 4 more. Highly recommend.

The blinds arrived in perfect condition. The installation was a breeze and they look gorgeous!. The best part is that I don't have to clean between the slats since they are between the glass and can't gather dust. And there is no rattle opening or closing the door. To open or close, all you have to do is slide the lever, same goes for raising or lowering the blind. You have one happy customer, here!

Our kitchen door was mostly glass and the summer sun would poor in causing it to get very hot in there. I bought material to make curtains but there was just not an easy way to install them on a door that was opened and shut many times a day. We installed these blinds and now have blessed relief from the sun when we need it or the ability to enjoy the outdoors through it when the sun has moved - without something banging everytime it is open and shut. My only wish is that they made them in an off white/beige color as not all of us have or want white in our house. It doesn't match anything else.
