[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased 2 months ago Freezer light burnt out on day 3. Does not correspond to replacement instructions in book…different fixture. Fridge temperatures range overly broad, currently cools to 33 degrees minimum. Then warms to 46 degrees before compressor switches back on (too warm) using normal setting on thermostat . No thermostat knob for fine tuning…just four settings and this one is the best of the lot. The compressor whines a bit as it builds up to speed These are defects I won’t get into the design disagreements just now…there are many

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dents in edge of door and crease in back. Leans to the left. Only the front has levelers so there is no side to side leveling. I needed to reverse hinges to the left side. Now the door swings open on it's own hitting the wall. Refrigerator light switch is on the right side so it is easy to bump now. No light in freezer. My older / smaller refrigerator had one. Shelf retainer bars are to small leaving a huge gap at the bottom that items fall through. Unable to submit photos to this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would never recommend this refrigerator at any price. To anyone, it's got multiple issues. It's got cheap handles which you have to put on the refrigerator self and broke within a year, as well as the shells are made out of either flimsy glass or plastic on the inside of their refrigerator and the freezer is absolutely useless, especially the door. The freezer door side retaining handles. Come out about 3 inches, with it wide open on the bottom of the shelves, so you can't put anything on the door without them. Falling through those retention handles onto the ground. So I've been unable to use the freezer door to store anything at all..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3 hours after starting the Frig, the Evaporator Fan Motor started to make a loud humming noise. 2 days after startup, the Freezer section started to build up frost. Call Whirlpool and they sent out a Company to check the problems, the technician fixed the frost build by adjusting the doors. He could fix the loud EFM and will order one to be replaced. If the humming noise is fixed, then i would recommend to a friend. Also, this refrigerator doesn't have a light in the freezer section, wouldn't that be a normal feature?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The top shelf is a little too narrow to nest well in the groove, falls down if not kept in the center. Hard to remove residue on top gap of freezer door. Can’t make ice maker work. Other than these issues it works well and was a good value.

This model burps and gurgles seriously all day and night. I have never had an issue with a refrigerator before this. Not the best storage configuration, either. If it didn't slightly work at all like it does, which isn't saying much, I would only give it one star

Fridge does its job, keep stuff cold and prolong life of perishable good but it is a poorly designed/low quality fridge. Why this is piece of crap? 1) Day 0 - After the night of delivery and install i go to open the fridge the sealing gasket starts to peel/fall off. Called & service guy comes out to glue to the gasket in place. 2) day 60+ into ownership - gasket falls off again, applied own glue to keep sealing gasket in place 3) day 367 - gasket falls off again, annoyed the crap out of me to call service again and warranty timed out. Also fridge started making metallic noise when compressor in the back is turned on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple months ago. The first issue was it was delivered. The very first instruction in the instruction booklet states to remove plastic film BEFORE attaching the handles and doors. This step was skipped! I now have plastic all around my handles. I will need to unassemble the parts to remove and then reassemble. I am a female and not good at this stuff so it still remains. The other issue is there are 3 temp settings. The normal middle one did not make the food cold enough so I have to leave it at the highest setting which uses more energy to get the desired temp. All else seems to be fine. If I had it to do again I probably would not choose the stainless option as every print shows up on it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I would recommend this item. I downsized on my refrigerator and it's taking some time to adjust. I'm having to put my Brita water filter in the body instead of the door because the door shelves aren't big enough. The shelves in the door of the freezer are very narrow and there's a gap in them. I can still angle items to fit and not fall out but still it's weird they are like this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, we like the refrigerator overall. It works great and the interior layout is really functional. Here's the problems- install was a pain with lack of clear instructions. The biggest issue is the leveling. The refrigerator leans back by at least 1/2". The leveling mechanism doesn't work at all- the feet don't extend far enough to even touch the floor. If they did, it would only make it lean back worse. I suspect that they put on the incorrect wheels/leveling feet due to part shortages or something. The instructions didn't describe how to level or show any pictures. I ended up using wood blocking to get it leveled. The other minor detractor is that the door handle attachment hole doesn't have a plug so there is an unfinished hole exposed. A little plastic plug would have finished it nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, I have only one problem with this refrigerator....why did they skimp on the freezer door food shelves? There is a space big enough for some of the frozen food to fall through. It makes no sense why this wasn't completely closed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like the new frige except for two things: The shelves in the freezer door are so narrow, it really limits what you can store there. Smaller items fall through the space. No reason for the shelves to be that narrow. Also, the utility shelf at the top of the refrigerator door (with the flip up cover) has a little half moon bump out, which seems to serve no purpose except to get in the way and again, limit the amount/type of items to store there.

I chose this model because it gave me a lot of food storage with 19 cubit feet but it still fit in the space in my kitchen. Also, I love the stainless steel doors. I must add that I did not give it a five star rating for 2 reasons. The first is aesthetic. The top hinge of the freezer door is completely uncovered. You just see this big clunky hinge with bolts. A simple cover would make it look much better. The second is that there is a strange lubricant on the hinges and drawer slides. I got it on my fingers when I was washing it. Other than these small things, I am loving my new fridge and it’s working great.

We are completely satisfied with this refrigerator. Had to get used to door shelf arrangement but now very satisfied. A very good buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this refrigerator since February. It is working efficiently so far. The stainless steel is not extended to the top of bottom of the doors, it is plastic material. There are intentional holes on the bottom of each door and I can feel Styrofoam protruding from the openings. I would have preferred investigating this product at the store but I needed something right away. If I had checked it out at the store, I probably would not have made the purchase.

We bought this refrigerator because Whirlpool was considered one of the best brands. But after 3 years, ice built up in freezer and temperature won’t go under 20 degrees. Called Whirlpool customer service and they told us that warranty was good only for one year and basically that we were on our own. Then when I ask for service, they told me they don’t have any technicians near me ( I live 30 min away from Manhattan), and I could call anybody I wanted for service. Now, I’ll need to call for a service tech, and who knows how much it will cost to repair. 3 years is not what a well known company refrigerator would last. I hope Whirlpool customer service will read this review and help me to solve my problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old refrigerator was 37 years old and I thought it would be hard to find something we liked as well, which fit in our space. This Whirlpool model was exactly what we wanted. Everything about this model is of high quality. The storage is very flexible and easy to customize to your needs. The glass shelves and bins are well made. The LED lighting is a great feature because the contents of the fridge are well visible. You can even see into the bins through the glass shelves. Freezer storage is good, and the glass shelf is positioned correctly. This unit is very quiet when running. About the only thing I don’t like is that the bins are placed low, and I am tall and have to bend over a decent amount (but at least I am stretching). I also wish that the freezer door storage was a bit deeper. These two things are minor when compared to the overall quality and design of this unit. I would recommend it to anyone, and would buy it again.

I ordered this product online in October 2018 and it works fine except I was extremely dissappointed that there is NO LIGHT in the freezer. I re-read the product description and it appeared to me that a light should be in the freezer. I called the manufacturer and they said it did not have a light. I called Home Depot and asked for it to be returned as all freezers need a light, as a basic necessity. I was told they would not take it back b/c the description was clear. I read the description back to the call center manager where it said the 'food was well lit'. Asked her if the freezer holds food? Anyway, she called the manager of the store that got credit for my purchase and he refused to let me return it. So I have a fridge that works well enough but I can't see anything in the freezer especially at night! Not happy at all and would not recommend the product simply b/c of a lack of proper lighting in the freezer. Looks like something you can live with? Wait till it's dark outside...
