Replaced a Kitchenaid which seemed of better quality.

So far so good. The big grates are a bit cumbersome but that's the new style. A minor pain to clean but I can deal with it. Simple efficient design and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks terrific and the grates allow any pan to be slid to another burner. The only problem: the right rear burner on the lowest setting (melt as in melt butter) does not go low enough. Soups etc. continue to boil. I will need to find some type of extension to sit on the grate to raise any pot so that things will not burn.

The only thing that I don't like is that each burner can only be turned so low. The simmer burner, right rear, boils when turned as low as possible (it called melt).
