[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The untimely death of mine before its second birthday has nothing to do with Whirlpool: the motorhome manufacturer installed a latch over a faceplate that traverses the mid-front where all three doors meet. Beneath their latch myriad cracks developed and began shedding freon into our coach interior. Newmar, the coach maker, insisted the coolant lines are nowhere near their proprietary aftermark latch installed on each Newmar Dutch Star, so I did a "fridge autopsy" to demonstrate otherwise, and then sent the cross-section to Whirlpool for engineering analysis.

Is a $1500 appliance supposed to last only 6 years nowadays? The back wall of the freezer began to collect ice, and that caused it to make noise that got progressively louder, driving you nuts. I had it serviced 4 times. Each time they thought they had the problem figured out, and then a couple of weeks later it started again (long enough for the ice to return). It's a real pity because otherwise I like this fridge. Well except for the water filter, which has to be jammed in there to work properly (otherwise an awful rattling noise, and no water). Now I have to go find a new fridge in the middle of a pandemic, when there are no appliances to buy--and spend another $1500 minimum. Yay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this appliance over the summer and finally had it installed 2 weeks ago. It's a nice looking refrigerator and I'm very happy with it. The only thing I don't like is that the top tray slides out every time I open the freezer and I'm not sure if it's supposed to or if it's getting stuck on the items under it. If it is designed to slide out automatically I would rather it stay closed until I pull it out when needed.

I've never hated an appliance as much as I hate this refrigerator. It's vastly noisier than our last one. A Whirlpool tech told us that it's no louder than the standard, but if this is the standard now, I'd almost rather go buy groceries daily than deal with this racket. He arrived at this conclusion by downloading an app on his phone and testing the loudness, so that was super normal and professional. On top of that, the layout is ridiculous. If you want to fit, say, a pot of soup and a jug of milk in here, you can either take out one of the shelves completely, or you can get over yourself and not have a pot of soup and a jug of milk. We just realized that we can't fit our Crock-Pot in here either without jacking one shelf up so high that it's useless. The door won't shut all the way if we try. But it's close enough to shut that it doesn't trigger the little sensor that warns you your door isn't shut. Instead it just runs all the time, driving up your energy bill and making the fridge even noisier. So to recap, - Noisy - Poorly laid out - Neither Home Depot nor Whirlpool were any help at all - We haven't experienced this but some people have trouble with moisture collecting in the rubber seal on top of the freezer. If I could have returned it, I would have. But I wasn't allowed to. As it stands, every appliance I've ever purchased has been a Whirlpool, and that absolutely ends here. This is my last Whirlpool. Every second that I see this refrigerator fills me with anger. Every second that I can hear it makes me bitter about the money I wasted, and I can hear it from two rooms over. My resentment of it is spreading to my other Whirlpool appliances, which is making laundry day sort of frustrating. I have had it since September, and I have only grown angrier at it with each passing day. It's like a tiny needle under my skin. The best I can hope for is to forget that it's there, but then it always finds some way to remind me of its presence.

Delivery was fine, but interior of fridge is not designed well. My fault for buying online and believing description instead of looking at in store, in person. Not much space. Can't even store a standing bottle of wine. Door bins are small. Described as being able to hold a gallon of milk in the door...you probably could hold one if you removed higher self but that is the only thing that would fit on the Shelf. Also, fridge is noisy, randomly... not just when cycling through ice making Etc

I purchased this brand new fridge and it died within THREE years!!! I then paid to get it fixed ($670!!!) and it died again - only the freezer works. I was told that it was probably the fan so I should disconnect it and reconnect it after a few days. That worked the briefly and now only the freezer works. What a hunk of JUNK!!!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kitchen refrigerator space limits us to 33’ wide or narrower. Ten year old Maytag died, Maytag has not changed any inside features, we knew what we didn’t like. This Whirlpool has the features we wanted. I was concerned about fixed shelves and interior size. Worries were needless, plenty of space! This refrigerator holds more than the larger replaced model. We couldn’t be happier. Refrigerator is also quiet in comparison to our old refrigerator. We saved money, gained space even though outside measurement is less. Thank you Whirlpool designer who came up with this refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my refrigerator about a month ago after spending several months looking for one that would fit in the space where my old one was. I wanted water and ice through the door, but could only find this one with water through the door. The size was right so I bought it. I'm very happy with it. It is like it was made for the spot it had to go in.

I'm very pleased with this fridge. It runs very well and meets all our needs. Beautiful chrome finish.

Here some of my observations: > one of the pullout trays does not go all the way in and keeps popping out. See the gap in attached picture > The moisture control flap groove with the Whirlpool log is too large and obstructive > Freezer tray has sharp 90 degree bottom corners which minimizes the space . If it is redesigned to be tapered angling inward, it allows for more space

This fridge has a ton more room than I expected (i switched from a 36 in, 26.7 cu fridge). The water in the door is a great feature and it is chilled. Having no ice in the door allows for more space in the fridge and you don't have to worry about any ice getting jammed either. You have to be creative for some tall items but overall there is a ton of space for configuration. The freezer is a good size too (frozen pizza fits) and it makes lots of ice. I spent MONTHS researching fridges and finally decided on this one to fit through our small doorway and so far have had no issues with it. I have only had it about a month, but so far highly recommend.

Little small but workable

Nice refrigerador, easy to keep market purchase organiced.

I primarily chose this model because it was one of two French door models I could find that would fit through the 30-inch door leading into my kitchen. So far, this seems well built and the water dispenser works well. The ice maker strangely seems sort of lackadaisical in doing its job. It's very slow to produce a full bucket of ice. And time will tell whether the air filter and the disposable thing that goes in the crisper to keep vegetables fresh longer are anything but gimmicks.
