It was very nice but I decided I needed a larger fan, so I returned it. Westinghouse makes a good, quiet fan. (I have one in my bedroom.)

Perfect fan for the space where I needed it. Remote was just great & mounts on wall (won't get lost.) Fan runs smooth, moves air & looks nice. One of few fan light kits that had more than 1 bulb, didn't have extended arms, and used regular bulbs! Just what we needed. HD had best price, too!!!

It states that this ceiling fan has a remote, which it does, but you can ONLY use the remote to turn the fan/light on and off, not the wall switch. If the light is on, you can turn wall switch off....but then back on, and the light is off. You must turn the wall switch to the on position and then proceed into the dark room to find the remote and turn it on. Very pointless to have a remote if you must attach it on the wall next to the wall switch to utilize it. Very disappointed with this fan in my new build house.

Lacks quality
I called to see if the wires were 24" so we could use a 24" pole. "Yes!" I was told. Well, how about 23 1/4" wire. Now we must use an 18" pole & we're not happy about it!
We wanted a remote! It states it has a remote! Yeah, right - the housing goes into a bracket and an ugly wire sticks out .. ? antenna? Not attractive & CHEAP!
And the fan boards are cheap looking. Everything else looks fine, but all-in-all, it is not the quality for the price.
The ceiling fan selection in Home Depot was really poor this season. Most were quite small and had NO remotes! Nothing like the selection a few years back when we bought two fans then.
