Strong attractively designed solar light. It doesn't fall apart if dropped. They look like miniature vintage street lamps. Really fun, the light design that appears on your sidewalk, pictured Dusk to Dawn Lights. After a sunny day, the solar lamps light brightly at dusk and by first light still have a faint glow. You can bring one inside for a night light. I have a few failing outside solar lights with proprietary batteries, this portable solution is appreciated. Overall design and light quality is a 5, Westinghouse's customer service is a 4. My box arrived damage from a spike through the bottom of the box, all the spikes were pointed downwards. It appeared one spike was gone or broken. The lamps have a customer service number on them. I was told I would have to return the entire box of lights or buy a new spike at a hardware store because they did not carry extra spikes. Later, I found the spike in one of the 6 had been inverted The rest of the stakes came pointy end out, like in a vampire killer instrument. I would recommend these lights for their design. It's a simple vintage street lamp look that will work anywhere, you can move with them!

They were easy to install, they provide good light, they are solidly built and they light up even after a day without sun. The only down side was that one of them had the spike stuck inside so it couldn't be put in the ground.

These solar lights are made very well and look beautiful during day or night. Even though they are aluminum (with some plastic parts), they have a good weight to them. There is no need to worry about rust on these lights. The cut glass gives off a charming pattern. I like the way it shines down and also shines out of the top glass. The most difficult part of installation is deciding where you want to place them. Assembly is simply reversing the stake in the post, and setting the light on top after removing the paper from the battery. They worked great the first night, and got better after sitting in the sun for a day. I love the 400mAh battery, it gives off a nice, strong light and lasts most of the night. Although there are no instructions, what information needed is on a sticker and the label, including the customer service number. This Westinghouse Orleans light set is well worth the price and I have received many compliments on their classy look.

We have had other walkway lights of this style and they provided minimal light and broke quite easily. These are of much better construction and provide the maximum in walkway lighting. Neighbors have asked where we purchased them so that they could better light their walkways.

These pathway lights are perfect in every way. They are very well made, they are just the right height and they emit the light just beautifully. You can't go wrong with this set.

We have tried several different solar lights and have not been satisfied with them due to them just not giving out the illumination we were looking for. When we tired these path lights, we were pleasantly surprised at how bright they were and look nice as well. They are a little more expensive than other path lights, but well worth the money. They are a nice attended touch to our yard and were just what we were looking for. Some information that may be helpful for other buyers. When your solar lights begin to dim after a year or two, try replacing the battery in them and the illumination will return just like when they were new.

I wanted a tall light that illuminated enough light to see beyond the edge of a patio. This was perfect!

very solid and well made, so nice to have real heavy glass shades instead of plastic. got 2 sets will probably order more.

Quick and easy to assemble. They are a good quality and look great. They are larger and heavier than what you see in most stores, taller, too. They are not flimsy. A good amount of light comes from them and they light up a whole walkway.

Solar lights add charm and soft lighting to any outdoor area. Whether it be a path or lighting in a garden space the Olreans solar light set are both functional and very expensive looking without breaking the bank. Truly enjoy the lighting on top and the bottom. They give off more light than other solar lights with a bright white glow. This has been the best set purchased. Love this set. It was an added welcome to the 30+ solar lights glowing in the yard.

I would definitely recommend these lights for style and quality

A couple years ago, I purchased a set of solar powered path lights from another company. They worked okay, and while I thought they looked nice, I didn't know what nice was, until I got this 6-Piece Orleans Solar Path Light Set recently. By day, they have a classy look to them with their "cut-crystal" look and classic style, and by night, they throw out a bright light that is broken up into a neat looking pattern shining down on our front walk. Assembly is very simple and no instructions were included (except a small sticker) or really needed. Compared to my old lights, these new ones seem sturdier and definitely have a better stake system to hold it firmly in place and upright in the yard. Because grass is difficult to cut around the lights, you should probably give some thought towards setting these lights in a mulched or gravel bed alongside your sidewalk or driveway. I'm sure Home Depot has all you need to do that, and I plan to look into that myself. Some of these lights come with a 250 mAh battery, and some come with a 400 mAh battery. The difference is that the more battery mAh translates into longer burning time for the lights. This set is 400 mAh. With my old solar lights, I found that the batteries tend to last a couple years. My old lights were 250 mAh battery powered. I went to a specialty battery store and found that I could get 400 mAh batteries instead of the original 250 mAh for my old lights, so that is something to consider as a possibility if you need to replace batteries. Home Depot carries the type of battery my old lights use, so I am guessing that they would probably fit these new lights as well. All in all, these lights make a great way to beautify your yard, and provide some safety for walking around outside at night. Thanks Home Depot!
