Doesn't Work in My Application
The latch gets stuck closed and you can't get in your own house. You turn the handle and the mechanism doesn't retract. It can be made to "let go" if you lean your weight against the door (from the inside) or pull the door toward you (from the outside) so there is no pressure / tension on the latch, but even that is hit or miss. I've had to let myself in another door and go around to the inside to lean against the door to get the thing to work.
