Just about every aspect of these shingles matched what I already have.
The one difference would be the nail holes. Which means I had to drill new holes on every single I put up.
You see tiles have holes 1 inch from the bottom and these have pre drilled holes at 1/2 inch. I didn't notice the difference at first and cracked an existing tiles by putting a nail through it.
18 shingles is a good amount to close of a removed window. So luckily I only needed one pack.

Easy install. Pre-drilled holes. Recommend using a longer nail than what you remove to ensure siding stays mounted. Great match, great product.

I had several asbestos siding panels on my bungalow that were broken. I replaced them with these fiber cement shingle siding panels and then painted them. You can't even tell the difference. Great product.

I installed these shingles alongside and among other older cement shingles, and used a airless sprayer to do the entire house. You can't tell which is which, which was exactly what I hoped for.

Great to find an asbestos-free siding product to repair my house. It was a perfect match for my appx 20-year old siding.
There were pre-drilled holes which were great in helping to install the product and prevent breaking or cracking of the siding.

All shingles we broken when received.
All the shingles were broken when we got them. it was under the label so it wasn't seen until a week and a half later when we opened it to put them on. Unfortunately we had to try to make it work as is because we didn't have time to wait for another order to come in since they're not sold in the store and my husband only had a little time off work to put them up. We may need to possibly order more but now I'm afraid to order them because I'm afraid that when we get them they're all going to be broken again. the product itself went up easily except the holes were too low to put with the other siding that was already on the house so we had to drill new holes for the nails.

It's a good match for repairing the same type as it matches we'll but if painting paint them before u hang. Only real problem is cutting them I used a tile cutter and it worked well with no mess but a Wetsaw is the way to go. Overall good product.

I am in the process of prepping my old house to be painted here soon. By doing this I needed to add and replace a few old asbestos shingles. Those are not to be found anywhere so this was available. Since this is the only product that closely resembles what I have, I gave it a shot.
The package arrives by UPS, very well protected. Amazon could take some hints from this packaging.
The shingles match exactly what I have on my house, only the width between the lines on my old siding is more random/irregular. There are 3 holes, pre-drilled, if you need more holes, just take a drill bit and go to down. It is fiber cement so wear a mask. ALSO WHEN WORKING WITH OLD ASBESTOS OR WORKING WITH EXISTING ASBESTOS SIDING, WEAR A MASK!!! Anyways, great material! Also I used my old wet saw to cut down the boards if needed, works great and keeps the dust down. Just rinse the shingles off with water, let them dry out and attach with some nails.
-->> The only flaw I see is that its nowhere pre-primed at all. It comes in the ugly gray fiber cement color. Not sure if they recently changed this, description states they are pre-primed - NOPE. I guess I will get out my primer and seal it up before I paint over it.

Some of the boxes on the palette had chipped corners so the shipping and handling needs to step up the quality. We were able to partially use the other half of chipped boxes for cuts though a full box of half the tiles were wasted.

Matches the original.
This comes as close to the original you can find. The siding is primed, so I matched the color and painted them before installing. Next spring, when it warms up, I'll give it all a coat of paint and it will look like the original.
You'll need a masonry saw blade and drill bit, but other than that it's not a tough product to work with, although it's a little touchy. Just be a little careful.

This is the third time in a short time that I have ordered these shingles. They keep coming with hairline cracks and were unusable. This 3rd order I received had two with cracks and many are warped and probably unusable. There are only 6 I would rate as decent. I can’t reorder again as I have a contractor coming tomorrow morning to install. Hopefully he can work with what is here. If not I will be bringing the remaining shingles back to my local store for credit.
This is the third review I’ve done regarding this issue. It would be nice to have been contacted by someone at HD with an apology or better solution. Very disappointed.
