It replaced a 50 year old overflow seal just fine.

10 dollars for a plastic disk. Chrome finish is still plastic. Replaced a metal one for plastic. Not worth it.

Worked like it was supposed to.

I replaced a 43 year old bathtub overflow gasket with this new gasket from Danco. I used the butt of a screwdriver to create some space o assist in the removal of the old and install of the new gasket located between the tub wall and the overflow drain. Needless to say the old gasket more or less disintegrated on contact as I tried to remove it. After cleaning out the old gasket debris, I installed the new Danco gasket. It took a few minutes to slip it into place.I prepped it beforehand with a little plumbers grease prior to it's install. The new gasket seemed to create a good seal between the tub and the opening of the tub overflow drain. This was my first attempt at this type of job and it can easily be accomplished by novice or anyone who is handy.

Worked great. Stopped my leak. Went ahead and purchased three for three bath tubs I have. House was built in 2005 and the old gaskets dried up. Never seen a leak from one of these before. Turns out water was following the faucet back to the overflow when using the shower and flowing down the back of the tub. So heads up, you don’t need to over fill your tub to have the back flow leak. Just need a dried up bad gasket.

Hard to keep in place. Would have been better if it was tacky on both sides to hold. I placed a thin layer of adhesive silicone on both sides which worked for me.

Material is too soft and tears up very easily. I recommend you find a rubber gasket that won't tear up so easily when installing. This thing is made out of cheap, flimsy, foam rubber. If the front wall of your tub has no slope, you do not need this design, which is fatter at the bottom than the top.

It was a step down from the OEM Gerber gasket that I was replacing. I won’t be using it.

Easy to install did the job

This is a tapered gasket and you need the package to see the picture and that gives you the instructions that you need to install it properly.

Exactly what was needed. Was a bit nervous this part would not be available.

It's only been a month but so far so good!

It fixed my leak but it doesnt feel like it will last.
