I am using these for curtain rods in a restoration project... 71 vw bus! They are perfect, sturdy and a great fit for our beach theme restoration. (Using seashells on the ends.) Total project will take a few weeks yet but the interior decor was completed a week ago when the idea for bamboo curtain rods worked! Prototype looks great! The entire look is beyond what I hoped for!

I ordered 4 of these. 3 were fine and of good quality (and 1/4") but one was no wider than a 1/8" and crocked as a dog's leg. I laughed when I saw it. There is no way that stick should have ever passed an inspection, much less been chosen for an order.

Sturdy yet easy to alter. This was perfect for using in place of dowel rods for a more artistic look!
