was burning crack filler into driveway - at first, was just laying torch sideways - torch would shut down - then saw this hose - built stand for cannister so it wouldn't tip over and used the hose - perfect

This extension hose makes it easier to use the torch since you don’t have to hold the weight and bulk of the tank.

I was using a Benzomatic propane tank to melt a driveway crack filler but experienced flare ups when the tank was held on the slide. I ran back to the store to pick the extensions hose (which I should have done in the first place) and it solved my problems. It come with a hook which is a nice feature for hanging the bottle and I found maneuvering and using the hose was a lot easier than waving the tank around itself. I highly recommend the torch extension hose to anyone who will be using the propane tank.

Easy and fun to use for brush removal. Comes with everything you need to attach it to a standard 25 gallon propane tank. Feels high-quality, was easy to assemble and use, and is a great piece of kit for my ranch.

It is perfect for the torch gun that that I purchased and requires a 1 lb. bottle to be screwed on. Now the weight is not on the the torch gun.

Not a bad product. Nothing heavy duty, just for occasional light use, but that's implied. I've always found Bernzomatic to be at times slightly overpriced considering the build quality is not much better than the half priced competition and they've had more than their fair share of recalls and safety incidents over the years, but I've always found their warranty process to be very reliable. When my hose started cracking and leaking after a couple months of light use, always stored indoors, this is the one Bernzomatic product I could not get them to honor the warranty for. And for this price you could buy an actual industrial duty welding grade T hose and fit adapters to each end. Without the warranty it's not worth the convienence of having the adapters already attached.

Bought this a few months ago and it was great, at first. Then the valve started acting up (still had flame when closed as tight as possible by hand), and then the hose developed a leak just above the crimp at the tank end. Thought my almost empty tank had gone empty, only to swap bottles and get a nice frozen blast to the hand where the hose had ruptured unbeknownst to me. The tank was indeed empty, because the valve wouldn’t close and then the hose ruptured.
