I do recommend the ice maker, however, the ice bucket design is poor and should be reconsidered. It does a great job producing ice and staying consistent in doing so. The bucket design is cheaply done and there is no place to hang or position the ice scoop. If you want a reasonable price point ice maker, it serves the purpose. The ergonomics of the unit are not it's strong suit.....

The ice maker is reasonably priced based on other units. However, the quality of the ice is terrible. How can Ice be made bad? The ice is very wet and never seems to freeze enough to stop melting. There is a big drain hose, the unit just never get cold enough to store good ice. I returned the unit and will be looking elsewhere. DO NOT BUY THIS ICE MAKER

Makes Ice as it says. Was told my Home Depot it would make ice like Sonic Ice however not even close. Its more of a hard square ice cube. Install is easy, but its louder then I thought it would be, and have had to leave the door off and unplugged a couple of times to get the ice off the grill on the back.

The product looks good and works well for the price, but I wish the cubes did not stick together so much.
