This is my first purchase of this product. The stacking planters were very simply designed, easy to assemble, easy to plant, easy to hang. The self-watering features are very simple, large holes, we'll see how effectively the watering feature will work. It isn't as sophisticated as Growstalk self-watering planters with the slow drip features, so we'll see how this feature plays itself out this summer. Plastic appears to be sturdy, not sure if it's BAPA free or how well it will withstand the environmental elements. Smaller volume capacity than I expected. Probably best for small plantings. I planted some non-runner strawberries and a few chard plants and hung it on our playset hoping to keep the groundhogs away from the strawberries. I don't know that hanging strawberries on a playset will keep the squirrels and deer from foraging but it's a fun experiment. I'm hoping to harvest something this year. If this works, I may consider a hanging garden.

I LOVE THIS PLANTER! its design is perfect for my porch patio where space is limited. The design allows for maximum use of water and perfect for gardeners of any age. The chic design is pleasing to the eyes and lends to the beauty of any plant by highlighting it in its own individual space. I planted strawberries and flowers in mine in literally 10 minutes from set up to done that fast! Definately will buy more of these and other items from nancy jane!

The 12" are great for strawberries the 15" are better for larger garden plants

Smaller than I thought it would be.

Overall, the product was acceptable. It would have been better if: 1.) the planting areas were slightly larger to better accommodate larger, single plants not sold in a multi-pack cell (eg. "Proven Winners" size containers) 2.) drip tray had a better method of attaching to the bottom pot. Once I would get two tabs attached, the third would pop off. I finally gave up.

I absolutely love this item. It is beautiful! I would have liked a little more info about watering it. I'm not sure the water at the top is getting to the bottom, but maybe I'm not watering it enough. I have petunias and portulacas in it. So far so good!

The quality of the pots is quite good. However the actual planting space is very small

Nice concept. Looks great when sitting on "level ground", a table, etc. Does not hang straight when planted. Need to be creative in "balancing".

Well the package arrived quickly, the plastic is strong and looks durable. It has a chain through the center to allow for hanging. However, you need some type of pipe or tubing to put over the chain, through the holes, to keep the dirt from the chain, otherwise the chain is churning the soil and of course, it will get wet and stir dirt into the wicking reservoir for the plants. I don't really understand why this isn't stated in the description, or the potential size of the tubing or pole. The instructions say you can use a pole to hammer the planter into the ground to prevent it from being knocked around by kids or animals. But no specs on what that would be, so I guess that means I have to take the chain and one of the pieces and go rummage around home depot on a special visit for a few hours I didn't expect to reserve for this item.

Returned this item as I felt it was not attractive. I cannot say how if it works or not since I didn't try it. Also, it did not look like it was worth over $30!

The product is what I was looking for. I didn't get mine balanced with plants and potting soil but love how it looks hanging on my deck.

I purchased this planter to put on my front steps. It's the perfect size ....just tall enough and not too wide so that it is not obstructive .It is placed on the middle step between two very large solar lanterns that were also purchased from the depot....looks great and very easy to put together . My home is an end unit townhouse with a lot of wind and the planter has stayed put.although it is described as a hanging planter it works just fine being placed at ground level....different design ..nice change from the traditional ho-hum planters

These planters are unique and allow one to grow herbs in a hanging garden. The only thing I would mention is to get about 16 inches of plastic conduit to insert thru for supporting the chain, (worked great).

Near perfect for my strawberries. If I figure out how to keep them level I'll be the first to change to 5 stars.

This planter is a great idea, especially as a hanging planter. Love the stacking capability, although it is uncertain whether the chain provided would be long enough for the maximum stacking. The only problem I have encountered so far is that the center holes were cut too large. The chain is threaded through these center holes, but since they are about as large as a silver dollar, the planters lean. I realize that the holes are made to allow a metal stake through for stability in the case that you are stacking them on the ground, but the holes are still far too large. I have tried to stuff them around the chain so that it hangs straight but I have not been successful.. They should either make the openings much smaller or offer a plug option if using a chain so that the hole is only large enough to feed the chain through. It is too early yet to comment on how well the planters work for appearance, but it seems to be a great concept.

I am very happy with my planters, they are light weight but sturdy. Looking forward to seeing my strawberry vines hanging from them. Thank you

love it , use it to plants strawberry plants and herbs. If they do well this summer I will add more to them and make it higher. Like the fact that you can make it as tall as you want. Just remember you will need to stake it in the ground to hold them together if your not hanging them. Comes with chain to hang.

bought qty 1 for my strawberry plants and loved it so much, I bought another because my plants are doing so well. Now have a string of 6 and lots of strawberries to enjoy. Not to mention, it's very pretty when full of plants and berries. Must buy!!!

I wanted to grow herbs and flowers on my patio and this was the perfect solution. They've been in direct sun for two seasons and no fading or wear. I like that I can hang them or put them on the ground. Love that I don't have to water as often as with other pots. I will be getting more!

This product is, strong, looks great and my neighbors love the way it looks on my driveway. I would recommend this too any flower lover.

I was looking for a clay stawberry pot when I came across this product. They have a self watering reservior at the bottom of each layer. The only draw back I have notices is that the top layer gets much dryer than the lower levels.

Like the way it looks after planting. Currently using on ground, did not try hanging. Like the option/versatility though. Will know how well it works after the weather gets hotter.

Been trying to figure out for 4 summers how to grow herbs and peppers on my deck. Problem solved!! Water reservoirs mean I don't have to water every day. And the vertical design is not only cost saving, but a nice visual design. Started with the herbs, put peppers and strawberries in a second one, considering going to get a third one for flowers.

I thougth it to be a bit pricey but works very well. I would like to see an attchment on the end

I like that you can have so many different plants in the same pot. Not very deep, however. It was hard to get the pre-potted herbs from Home Depot in each section. I don't know how to use the single chain to hang it, though, since there was no instruction booklet.

I went into this extremely positive and came out completely negative. Product falls apart and fades quickly. It's a space saver but only because everything is way too small to plant. Plants will out grow the pots in a week! All of my plants died from what i'm thinking was root rot and planter provides no way for the roots to breath plus the trapped moisture at the bottom of each pot only makes it worse. Worst Purchase Ever!

This planter has stopped my herbs from drying out from the time I go to work and come home. I have lost so many herbs in the past with my planters drying out too fast. The space saving feature of these are great. I have a stack of nine of these with a rod through the middle into the ground and my garden is the envy of my neighbors.
