I bought my FoodSaver V3835 in June 2009. I would give it 10 stars if I could. I have never had any trouble with or while using my FoodSaver. It has worked perfectly since the day I bought it. Plus it looks ever so pretty sitting on my counter right next to my black and stainless stove. I love it.

This is my second Food Saver I LOVED my original V3250 and when it quit working I thought I would "upgrade" since I used my original Food Saver so much. DO NOT order this model it does not work as well as the cheaper models. I am extremely disappointed.

I have used a Food Saver vacuum sealer for at least 25 years. The original was by far the best and it also had the longest lifespan. When I tried to get replacement parts the were no longer available, hence I had to buy this one. Just after warranty expired the accessory hose no longer worked. I used it for marinating and on canisters when it did work it was great. This sealer cost a pretty penny so I am trying to research how to trouble shoot this issue. I also do not think its not as good of a seal and its definitely takes longer for recovery.

We love buying bogos and in bulk whenever possible. The problem is it's only me and my wife and sometimes you can't get through all the meat before it goes bad. Enter the vacuum sealer! Able to preserve food for well beyond normal dates and keep everything fresh and delicious. If you love buying in bulk then you should definitely pick up a vacuum sealer. This one is a great model, does what you need it to do and the stainless steel looks great.

This is the worst food saver I have bought will not seal the bag says the tray is full when it is empty. you have to wait for the unit to cool down before it will seal the bag. you cannot seal more than 3 bags before it has to cool down. if you have a lot of product to seal buy something else.

I'm not crazy about this model. Maybe I got a lemon, but the sucking power is not as strong as I've had in previous models, and, it takes longer between seals. Not sure I'd recommend it if you're doing more than one or two at a time.

I am very happy with the service I got from food saver, I purchased the Vacuum Sealer for my dad for fathers day and he loves it!! We highly recommend this!

This unit wastes too much of the bag with such a large margin between the edge required to trigger the sealer and would be better being more manually controllable,

This is my second FoodSaver, and i just love it. My sister was visiting, and used it for the first time, she's getting one for herself.

This is my second Foodsaver ! I have one in my kitchen I use all the time to package leftovers for the freezer. I have had it for years and it still works great ! So I bought another one for my storage room to seal canning jars for long term food storage. I buy in large quantity and I " dry can/seal " crackers, pasta, rice, cereal, etc. Keeps fresh for years ! Just don't seal anything powdery such as flour, sugar etc., the powder can damage the machine. I like this bigger model much better than the smaller ones.

I could do a complete commercial. We have owned 3 foodsaver in 15 or so years. We use it every day. We save thousands of dollars buying in large quantities and then sealing in smaller portions. The reason I am writing this is these people stand by their product. I was sealing 40 lbs of chicken breast this weekend when my machine stopped working. After realizing it wasn't something I could fix I told my wife to buy another one, 4th. Today I called customer service hoping for a repair shop suggestion so we had a spare when the one we just bought eventually breaks. (As I said we use this to seal at least a 1,000 lbs of food a year for our family so I getting 5 years use is more than I could ask. Well I was shocked when the customer service person told me I was still under warranty. Ship it back and they would send me a new one. I shipped my unit and they are shipping me a new one. I would never have expected this. What an incredible company that stands by their product even when the customer didn't even know it was under warranty!! I am keeping the one we ordered so I have a spare in the future. Foodsaver has a life long customer in my family!!!

This is the 3rd foodsaver i bought myself and i was very suprised it didn't work nearly as well as the lower priced models i had bought previously so I threw it away and bought ziploc bags

This replaced a similar unit, that lasted 6 years. This is faster, and seems to have more suction. Quite pleased.

Easy to operate, tall and narrow for counter top, but opens up to handle wide bags, or small bags, your choice! So easily fits under cabinet while sitting on counter top. So many things can be sealed from food to personal documents. Love it!

This is my first foodsaver purchase, I am absolutely thrilled with. I buy a lot of bulk food and meat and I can portion it out with ease and it stays fresh. I have a family of 5 so this has made my life so much easier, as well as my kids like it. I love the retractable cord it has not tangled or given me any issues. I wish the attachment for the deli bags would have been included, but I got this item on sale and very pleased with it.

having just purchased the product i do not know how well the food will be when i actually take out of frezer but it looks great. tryed to seal some cookies and they kind of smashed a bit but am learning. love the idea of having fresh food sealed for the months ahead.

I got this after I thought my 7 year old machine quit (it didnt, it just needed cleaned but I wanted a ewer foodsaver anyways, lol and my son wanted mine). it is so cool, I put the bag in and it automatically senses it and begins doing its thing. the only problem I had was user error when I sealed some cookies, I didnt put gentle and I squished some.

When we received the new Food Saver, we promptly unpacked it. We liked the looks of it and read all the material provided. Then, came the fun part of using it. We had few meat portions to be sealed - oh! what a joy it was. We also had some nuts in containers and tried the accessory device - what a snap to use - voila, the nuts are sealed. My wife is a retired chef and likes to have things on hand, so we do not have to run to the grocery store every time she likes to do something different than the norm. We probably will need more canisters to save some more nuts or other things. The Food Saver is much more powerful than the old one and much more faster to do the job also. We would certainly recommend it to friends and family, which we did for a couple of them already. The other bonus, is that it matches our other small appliances.

I purchased the Foodsaver unit a couple of years ago. It is easy to use and has resulted in enormous savings on my food purchases. Ordering Foodsaver bags online is very easy and the delivery is prompt. I would recommend these items to anyone interested in avoiding food spoilage and preservation.

Love my jar sealing top. I use daily and often more than once a day. Reseals jars with great ease.

We love this new food saver product. I have used the FoodSaver product daily for many years now. My old FoodSaver still works great but it was time for an upgrade. My favorite items on this new FoodSaver are the select button options & the retractable accessory hose. I would highly recommend this FoodSaver product!

I had a foodsaver that was destroyed in a fire in our home 28 August. I ordered this one as a replacement. Much easier to use, works perfectly. Great for venison, fish, just about anything else. Froze 20 bags of rhubarb with the old one and kept forever. Only used the new one for jerky so far, but from what I can see, will be perfect.

We are snowbirds. These days we are primarily cooking for two. The FOOD SAVER allows us to save money by taking advantage of weekly sales at the food store.

I have owned a food Saver for over 20 years...I have had this model for about 5 years and I love how it's sleek design and good looks allow me to keep it on my counter top at all times. I can easily take advantage of all of the buy 1 get 1 free meat sales at my local grocery store without worry of freezer burn. My son used to bring me meat to seal for his family when he would buy in bulk. This year I bought him this same model for Christmas. I am sure with its easy to use features they will be enjoying it for years to come. This product is by far worth the money spent on it. I seal more than just meat in it as well. It has a gentle cycle for delicate items as to allow sealing things such as breads and pastries. I can guarantee you that when this one wears out, I will purchase another one immediately. This is a must have appliance!

This is my second foodsaver. I'm a fan! I bargain buy 'family bargains" meat and vacuum pack to meal proportions. Also vacuum seal substantial quantities of wild game, i.e. salmon, crabs, shrimp, deer, and elk. The 3820 works great at these tasks. Re-gifted my 4 yr. food saver to one of my daughters with a spare vacuum gasket and am confident it will make her an advocate, too.

This is a super product which i very easy to operated and easy to care for.
