Customer Reviews for VP Small Engine Fuel 4-Cycle 94 Octane Ethanol Free (8-Pack)

While not inexpensive, when compared to regular gasoline, the benefits could very well make it worthwhile for many. This fuel has no ethanol, 94 octane, and will last several year's vs several weeks for ethanol containing gasoline. There's no need to use gasoline additives or extenders like "Sea Foam" or "StaBil". With no ethanol, this fuel doesn't absorb water like regular gasoline containing ethanol. This keeps your small engines running top notch and won't "gum up" carburetors or harm rubber/plastic fuel lines. I run this exclusively in my snow blower and lawn mower and find they both start, even after sitting for several weeks or months, on the first pull. It's amazing to be honest. This fuel is quite expensive when compared to the price of a gallon of gas, but if you only use a few gallons a year, it's a cheap investment. Running this fuel will keep you from having issues with your equipment and costly repairs and downtime. I highly recommend this for all your small engines. It's less expensive than TruFuel and has better qualities including higher octane 94 vs 92. VP has been around in the racing community for year's and has proven products that work.

I fine this to be unusable for any purpose. I can't use it for anything.

I have been using this for years and highly recommend it. Absolutely no problems with stale gas or varnish.

great for lawnmowers

I use this fuel in my pressure washer and my push mower. I have had problems with both pieces of equipment with regular gasoline. The mechanic that repaired advised me to use this product.

Following the instructions and I’m not inexperienced with these tops, but can not open the cans.

Home Depot just saw fit to raise the price on this already-expensive fuel, despite the fact that gasoline has decreased in price. Very disappointing. Notwithstanding the fact that I trust this fuel, I'm going to begin using ethanol-free gasoline instead...$30 a gallon is where this becomes ridiculous for me.

Although the product is what I wanted, several of the containers were leaking fuel.

Snowblower starts on first pull every time with VP fuel in the tank.

This stuff is great when storing mowers, snowblowers or any small engine! Great stuff!

Works as intended. Great alternative to E10 gas at your local gas station with ethanol in it. No mixing of stabilizer to keep gas from going bad. Would and will buy again. Only gave it 4 stars because of price.

But they need to check on their packaging methods. I had them shipped to m house and two of the cans had leaked out about a fourth of them.

No more worries about clogged up carb on the generator from sitting unused. Lawn mower runs great also.
