Fits perfectly I love it

I used it to replace the Kohler GP1059291 seal on the canister drain valve. Works perfectly. 1) The Kohler warning label about not using chemicals in the tank is serious... Adding bleach to the tank water to clean and disinfect it will disintegrate the original seal over time making it gummy and cause the canister to stick to the seat, requiring extra force on the flush handle to separate the two. 2) The Korky replacement "looks" like the same material as the original and may exhibit the same reaction to cleaning chemicals. In contrast, the replacement from Kohler is yellow in color and boasts about being resistant to chemicals. It seems Kohler decided the warning label was ineffective and redesigned the seal using a different kind of rubber (silicone?). The Kohler brand was not available in the store so I got Korky. 3) The Kohler canister flush valve mechanism is made of ABS plastic. Do NOT use acetone to clean off the old seal material - it dissolves ABS.

A good replacement for the original seal. Works fine.

Replacement is easy. Just give the interior post a 90 degree twist and you have access to the old seal. pull it off, and put the new one on, making sure to seat it all the way in the bottom groove. Insert the post into the hole in the bottom holder (a little hard to see the right orientation - I had to use a flashlight), and give it another twist to lock it in. Nice that there are two in the package. Keep the spare in a drawer for 4-5 years until time to replace again (I have two that use this seal).

Bought this for A Kohler. Fixed problems in just a few minutes...only been a week so hopefully it will last.

Great replacement part for Kohler Toilet! There are two types of seals in the package, one for Kohler, one for American Standard. Works like original...would be nice if it came with two seals for Kohler instead, but that's a marketing issue. A++++

Rubber parts in toilets, like fill and flush valve seals, that are exposed to chlorinated water need to be replaced periodically, as they deteriorate and begin to leak - indicated by continual or periodic running of water into/out of the tank/bowl. In our toilets (Kohler), the flush valve seals like the item above, and the fill valve seals as well (not the item above), tend to last about 1 year or so. I keep a few replacement flush valve seals like these handy for when this happens. Some times debris from the water line gets under the flush valve seal and can be removed correcting the issue, but eventually, the seal will have to be replaced for deterioration. I also keep some fill valve seals handy as well. My only complaint about this item is it contains two types of flush valve seals, one of which is going to be wasted unless you have both of the two types/brands of toilets the seals are for - haven't figured out a use for the wasted ones yet.

Went to buy the official Kohler brand seal, but the Home Depot employees couldn't find them. Bought this instead, and it works just fine at a lower price. No idea how long it will hold up, but the Kohler seal lasted 4.5 years.

I purchased this product about 2 weeks ago because my toilet kepted running , the tank would drain slowly and than refill again so after checking for the problem I found that the seal at the ceilinder was the cause so I purchased the Korky brand Vavle Seal Kit to give it a try and I was glad I did because it fits perfect, the installation was simple, product well made and he price is right. This seal took care for my problem. I would recommend this product.

So I got a notification on my front door that my water usage was high. Turns out this gasket was the fix. No more leaking water from the tank and down the drain.

The toilet still leaked and water still runs to keep the right amount in the tank. Disappointed!

New Gasket was easy to replace and works well in my American Standard toilet. This Korky gasket looks exactly like the Korky gasket I replaced 6 months ago. The original American Standard gasket lasted over 10 years. Must be a problem with chlorine in the water softening the rubber ?

This is a review of Korky 3" Flush Valve Seal Kit Does it fit and work? Yes Does it last? 5 years - in a house with soft water So why give it 1 star? Because it costs $8 for a package with 2 seals, 1 ea of 2 different sizes. Only 1 fits the Valve that i have. I now have 2 of those other seals - one from this package and one from the package 5 years ago. If they can sell a package with 2 seals in it for $8 they can sell a package with 1 seal in it for $4 OR put 2 seals the same size in one package (we have 2 bathrooms, both with the same valve) and sell it for $8. Not happy about this packaging and the wasted money and product.
