this product is so amazing and such great quality. I love you I love GE washer dryers! it holds a lot of laundry and is very convenient

The washer made a lot of noise when spinning. Left black marks on clothes from dryer. It starting leaking under washer which is the tub seal after 6 years. Will get a new stackable washer from GE because I am a loyal customer.

We bought this a few years ago, and it has broken three different times, and now is so loud we cannot be in our house when the washer is going. It sounds like a rocket ship about to takeoff. My parents have always told me that GE is one of the best brands out there and to always buy it when I can, so I am extremely disappointed that this is what happens when I spend extra money on a unit that I thought was worth the price.

My wife and I bought a fixed up condo in June. The washer / dryer came with the place and were brand new. Three months later we notice the washing machine was not filling up properly. It doesn't complete the cycle and water level is low, never completely fills up. If you like your clothes wet but not clean, then buy this piece of garbage. I have searched other reviews, everyone is saying the same thing.

I just got my new washer/dryer and I love it. Dries so fast and so quiet. Love washer too.

Y does it sound like water is sitting in bottom after cycle is finished?

I do not like the fact that the Cycle Knob does not move as the cycle progresses, so I cannot tell which part of the wash cycle the machine is in. Adding further confusion, the agitator pauses throughout the wash cycle, which continually makes me think someone accidentally pressed the pause button. If I had watched this machine in action prior to purchasing it, I would not have bought it. Concerned that after only one month of use, the lid latch malfunctioned which locked out the controls and prevented the washer from running any cycle at all.

I worked at GE and always have had a great admiration for quality of work. That is why I bought a GE washer and a dryer. However, after installation we started the first wash and the water was filling in for so long and never started the wash, odd, water was draining. I used the spin, and restarted the wash it worked. Then, the next day the same thing happened. Again, I went through the spin function and started again and it worked. It does not look right to me. Also gurgling or agitation is rather noisier than any other models that I had. technician said it is normal. But can't GE make appliances that are like others with a quiet wash?

Holds more clothes than I thought it would in one load.

Perfect for what I needed it for. It's quite compared to my old washer I have had no problems so far.

I am very satisfied with this product both the washer & dryer accommodate a very large load when necessary I am so happy we chose this set..

If I had known the lack of quality of this we never would have bought it...

Installed March 2015; no problems so far. Very nice size and nice features. Two issues -- 1) it makes more noise than my last unit, and 2) I wish the lint catcher were NOT located at the front. You really have to clean the lint AFTER each load, not BEFORE the new load (in case part of an item falls into the lint, etc). Small item, but it really should be moved.

I bought this stacked laundry center to replace an old leaking unit. My options were limited as I needed this to fit in a utility closet.

Having trouble with falls, the stackable helped me avoid the basement stairs by being able to have the washer/dryer on my first floor.

I did my homework before I made this purchase. I received exactly what I expected and there were no suprises. This set has the important function features and that is all i was looking for. I wanted the ability to control the water level manually and the washer has that. I converted mine to propane by purchasing GE's conversion kit. It was aproximately $65 thru Amazon and I installed it myself. I have now done at least 40 loads of laundry with this set and I have no complaints. The dryer gets really hot!!! I believe that this set will last for many years with minimal maintenance or repair expenses.

We had the previous version of this model (>15 years) and we bought this one to replace it. It fits well in the space and is very efficient.

This unit lasted less that 3 years before needing major repairs.

I love this laundry center. It gives me the ability to control every aspect of the wash and dry cycles (e.g., load size, water level, water temperature, dryer time, etc.)
