Bought 36 in. x 80 in. Cottage Rose Black security gate. I have not installed it but it's already rusting. Not only this gate there was so many home depot stuff that was of terrible quality yet more and more expensive

Great product and amazing service and support. We had an installation issue and a polite Unique Home Designs’ customer service representative corrected our problem, no questions asked. We have had an additional door, on our other entrance, for the past year. We are “twice happy”. We love the ability to have a nice fresh breeze, knowing our property is secure.

Doors are tan ,cottage rose 32 and a 36. Doors are both covered by awnings and 3 yrs later ,doors are both 80 percent rusted

It's a great door for the price point. As a one size fits all there were a couple of tweaks that needed to be made, but overall, not difficult or extreme.

Are these doors rusting where water gets on them? Cause I see alot of 5 star reviews on here.

The door began to stream rust from 7 separate spots the second day after one night of rain. The paint job is inferior and will not survive being exposed or splashed with water. Very disappointing.

Very poor door. It rusted after the second day. It was loud when being closed. No rubber bumpers, just metal hitting metal. The screen was so course that mosquitoes went right through it.

The one thing it was missing was what I'm guessing is an extra feature in some security door models, the bottom doorway threshold addition. I'll need to go get that piece. The installation was very easy after I watched the video.

The door itself is great. It's attractive and works well. What isn't good is the ordering specification (or the mounting design). I expected the sizing indicated finished door opening size and the side rails would be wide enough to hit the studs. No. The door is apparently designed to mount to the 3/4" door jamb. Not ideal. My finished doorway is 30" wide, so I ordered a 30" door. I had to install the left and right mounting rails to the 3/4" door jamb. The mounting rails were not wide enough to mount to the studs. If I'd ordered the next size wider, the rails would have mounted to the studs, but the door jamb would be within the screen door opening an inch on each side -- not attractive. The left and right mounting rails need to be wider in order to hit the studs while still allowing the finished doorway to be mostly aligned with the screen door opening.

This steel security door served its purpose. I like the simple design and strength. Felt much safer now for the back door.
