Ordered online to avoid shipping charges. Picked up at store and box was a little banged up and torn. Opened it there to make sure all was well. Was a small banged up corner, but we decided it wouldn't be visible once installed. At home, we checked it all, even for a bow, which seems to be common with these thinner security doors out of the package, verses something custom made. Put some 2x4's under and walked along center beam to straighten out a little. It did the trick. All hardware was there and instructions were easy to follow. Hired a guy to install since it is oversized in height, and not a one person job. Went up easy and looks clean. We're lucky it blends in a bit, and we get to have the door open for a cross-breeze. The price was right since a custom iron one would have been in the thousands. Makes a bit of a metal noise, but what do you expect from metal on metal??? Nothing a little weather stripping cant fix! Strong enough to keep ANYONE out, but nice enough to look like an addition to the house, not prison fortified!!! If you want an aesthetically pleasing look, with safety and security, this door is perfect for anyone's pocket book. Wish I had ordered it sooner! Was worth the 3 week special order wait!

We ordered this screen door due to its unique appearance compared with the average black or white doors you would see in the store and have to say that we were quite impressed!! The door itself is well built and you can tell it has a solid frame especially when closed as long as your guests dont slam it!!! When it came to ordering we found online to work best and due to our 8ft custom door height special order was the only way to go. As far as installation is concerned the mistake we made was trying to use a cordless drill or corded non-variable speed drill.....corded variable speed is the only way to have a successful installation. We also purchased a new security bolt tool which was spring loaded and could be purchased at Home Depot and seemed to work much better than an older style we tried to use. Overall we are very pleased with the screen door and everyone who comes over and sees it gives us compliments on it......thank you to everyone at Home Depot for their assistance with our project!!

The door is bowed and will not close properly. Only found out after install. Be sure to check before install because you can not bend after

The installer did a great job. A opulent of my neighbors liked it and were going to check it out.

I gave 4 stars coz the screen is not well welded with the iron rods.It makes lots of noise when you close and open the door, i bought this being expensive compared to other stuff after looking at the reviews, little disappointed with the quality.

This security door is great and built very well. I had a handyman install this onto my exterior door. My exterior of the home was all stucco and he had to drill through all that plus the metal that was behind the stucco to get into the wood frame. After it was done i had a large gap which i modified the doo seal kit to cover up. Too bad the price wasnt a little lower but was probably due to the door being so tall.

it was easy to put together. I just think you can improve on the top square bar. it never fits exactly the width despite all measurements. If you can produced it telescopically then it can be adjusted. Since it is usually the last piece to put, there is nothing we can do if it does not fit. Happened again to my neighbor too. It is just an improvement suggestion.

Nice looking and easy to install. It took me a couple hours to put it together. I bought some long screws to secure the door onto the frame first, to make sure it fits ok. It made the house secure. Bought a 2nd one for my sister's house.

Have not had it installed as yet, but quite excited about having this door installed soon. Looking forward to summer mornings allowing the cool air in.

I have finally received my door after 2 1/2 months. First 2 doors came damaged. This one has a couple of dings but I am willing to look beyond them just to have the door in place. I question the quality control of a company who has sent two doors with issues. Seems like they could weld the cross pieces to the mesh in order to keep it from rattling. Installer mentioned double sided tape to keep it from rattling. Seems odd but I will do it. I would think twice about ordering another door from this company. Home Depot has been wonderful in trying to make this work. I appreciate their help

This door is really great, especially for the price. There is a gap at the bottom between the door and the stoop so will have to install some kind of a sweep to close that. I have had neighbors stop and ask where I purchased the door as it's very classy looking!

The door was bowed and would not close. I straightened it I as us as possible since I had already installed it. Make sure your door is straight ( flat ) before installing to either return it or straighten out before its mounted. Also they failed to ship the top jamb ( frame ) piece. I called to have it shipped 2 weeks out. Other than that the door is solid looks good and a very reasonable price.

Excellent door. The only problem I had was shipping damage on first and second attempt . Second door was usable when damaged side of top frame cross-member was placed toward house. Customer service was excellent during entire process.

Great, solid security door. Hard to find a better value that this one. The larger mesh may not work in some areas, but we don't really have bugs where we live so it's working out fine.

This is a big, beautiful door and enhances the appearance of my house, both outside and in. My brother installed it for me. He is above average as a handyman and didn't have any problems with the installation. We did have trouble with the re-keying feature when trying to re-key it to match with my existing front door. We were not able to accomplish re-keying it even after calling the help number.

We have this gorgeous tall front door, and a prior owner had rigged something pretty ugly with a flimsy, short screen door. We love our tall door, and the dark copper color is gorgeous. It's substantial, not flimsy, it's exactly what we wanted. We had to do a little customization at the top to get it to fit properly in our door frame, but we are extremely pleased.

Considering that this door was one of the lowest priced I could find, it was surprising to see how well made it was. The quality of this product is evident in the heavy gauge metal, strong construction and error-free paint job. My only issue was that the frame was slightly too large for the space available around my oversized door but that was resolved with a little bit of effort and the right tool (which I rented from Home Depot). Check the external dimensions of the frame against your exterior door before you buy. Otherwise, this is a great door for a great price.

We love the look of the door. With a little organizational prep work and two people, the door went up easily - except that the drill bit size the directions call for was actually 3 sizes too small! We love being able to have the door open to catch the evening breeze. We would definitely purchase this door again (in bronze, even with the extra cost).

The Cottage Rose security door is a very well made door. My husband and I LOVE this door. We ordered our door in black, and I must say, it is stunning!! It is much more attractive in person than it appears on the website. Our neighbors and friends have commented on what a beautiful door this is. Beauty and safety all in one door--what more could we ask for? My husband and I would highly recommend this door to family and friends.

I have owned several security doors ranging from economy to high end and I have to say this door is the best door I have purchased as of yet. It is easy to install and has a very solid high quality appearance. It was more pricey than most but in my opinion it is worth the money. The copper finish was perfect for my decor. I am pleased with my purchase overall. I did , however, have one problem. When received ,we were shorted 4 screws for installing the frame. I contacted Home Depot and the screws were send out and received within a weeks time.
