Bought this glass shower door a couple of months ago. It looks good. Had some leaking at the bottom - called customer service, and the part to replace was mailed out right away, and the problem was addressed right away.

not engineered well, too heavy
Door was way too heavy, hardware not adequately and when trying to remove the door after the soft mounting screw stripped the door shattered into a million pieces. Threw it in the trash and will buy another brand.

Response from THD - Customer ServiceJun 5, 2014
Dear Valued Home Depot Customer,
We reached out to the MFG and below are their response.
“This type of heavy glass frameless door requires installation against the hinges into a stud or other wood reinforcement behind the wall, not just into drywall/tile, and is recommended to be installed by a professional, as outlined in the instruction manual. Any screws used in the installation of shower doors need to be stainless steel to prohibit rust and using the proper driver bit with steady even pressure can prevent stripping the screw heads. Tempered safety glass is designed to have a break pattern of small fairly harmless pellets and any trauma to the edges with a surface harder than itself can cause this breakage. Tempered glass is very durable if handled and installed properly, and the product is assembled properly by the installer during installation.
This is one of most popular models. If you have warranty, technical or installation questions, or require replacement parts, please contact our Support Department at 1-866-731-2244 and we will be glad to assist you.”
