Chairs were well packaged. No chips or cracks on my chairs. Assembly was very quick. I purchased six chairs and my husband and 12 year old daughter had them done in 30-45 minutes. Quality of the chairs are great. Heavy duty not flimsy. Overall very satisfied with purchase.

We are really delighted with these chairs. They are exactly what I was looking for and 1/2 to 1/3 of the price of buying similar chairs from the craftsmen we found on the Internet. My husband put them together while I was out of town and didn't mention any difficulty, and he has no patience, so it must have been a breeze. Best of all, they are beautiful and incredibly sturdy. The official weight capacity says 250 lbs. but I think that is everyone's default for weight capacity of a chair if they don't have heavier people around to test them. We do and I am confident these will hold up. They are very solid and will hold as much as any other dining chair. One note on the finish: The seat is not the same black as the rest of the chairs; it has a grayish or distressed tint to it. Not really noticeable but we did find it a little odd. (The photo shows six chairs around a 72 inch long table. We decided we can put three of these chairs on one side, and seat eight total in a pinch, but we only bought 6 since keeping 8 chairs around would take up too much room in a relatively small space).

I bought three sets of these chairs. My husband and I assembled them side by side, so they went together quickly. All were in great shape. The wood was incredibly smooth and took the stain well. They match my handmade pine farmhouse table perfectly. We sealed with a hand-rubbed oil finish, but I think an oil based polyurethane might have been a better choice. The chairs are comfortable...they are contoured to fit your back and are high enough to cradle your shoulder blades. Love them!

Good furniture. But availability sucks. I buy the dinning chairs for customers who I build dinning tables for. Poor availability makes it unpredictable to purchase.

Solid, heavy chairs. They were very easy to put together. Now I have to stain, poly or paint them. I shouldn't have put them together first, wasn't thinking.
