I don't like the new air release button on top. I had the older style 5.3 Cups model # 0421-C. Everyone wanted to know where I got them & wanted them. They had a great seal, went through the dishwasher. microwave without warping, were durable & didn't leak. I lost all but three out of about 15 I had from truck driving. After truck driving I cooked for friends & learned a lessonabout loaning out the food containers with food in them. Everyone seems to love the old style container. The air release appears to be the weakest point & everyone I know has had bad expierences with it and avoids it from prior experience rather than by brand. Why risk it... Not everyone is the same, could you sell the type with the air release on top & without? I need to replace mine.

The container is made of good, sturdy, clear plastic, it handles microwaving and dishwashing just fine, and I like the steam vent for cooking. But the hinges on the lid break too easily! Two of my lids are useless after only a couple months of use.

No happy at all with this, got it just before Christmas , used it once it dose not seal

I did not know Sterilite manufactured such a storage item as this one. I love it.

We bought 4 of the 16 cup size. All 4 leaked. Neither airtight nor watertight. Very disappointed. Returned them all.

Love this container. Easy to open and close. Open vent great for veggies. So, why is it hard to find if it has such good reviews!!!!

Recieved this product before the holidays last year and opted to use it to transport my holiday goodies. Works slick and easy. Kept the desserts fresh and mess free. I enjoyed the ease of this option so much a couple of family members bought the same item as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a must have in my kitchen, I used to to store left overs, take to parties, drop off food to a friend. They are sturdy and long lasting, I can see inside of them, label them stack in the fridge. I can never have to many. They are also easy to store, they stack inside of each other , and lids can lay next to them. I would be at a loss with out them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a longtime Sterilite customer going back over 15 years when I lived near their Texas plant. I will admit that when they stopped producing the sandwich size (green seal) I was less than happy. But when I discovered this unit it made up for it. The size is perfect for our house. I am blind and use this for everything from mashed potatoes to meds. The airlock tab is a great addition which allows for better seals and easier release when opening. I did receive one lid with only three tabs but I never use all the lids at the same time anyway. Now if only they would bring back the sandwich size (green seal)

This container is great for transporting baked goods. It is sturdy and can hold a lot.

Love these products. They are great for storing left over food. I like that it's square and makes it easier to store thing on top of it. It's also great that you can open the vent on the lid as well if the item is hot or you are heating it up. Not sure if it's stain resistant yet. A+++ from me!

Never really thought that a food storage box could be improved upon, but these boxes are great! The are amazingly sturdy and have lasted us a long time. Thick enough to take some heat without warping and the seal actually seals!

This is great for warming up food right in the container. the lid stays on tight especially when you fill it with ice to keep meats and cheeses cool. There is no spillage and it keeps food tasting great and fresh!

I love taking these to work for lunch. I like that you can micro wave them and they are dishwasher safe.

Before purchasing any one of these products my food would always end up rotten which had to be thrown away. Sterilite makes that part of my past. Foods that are in the plastic containers are now lasting up to two weeks longer and hold the seal like no other product I have used before. Will continue to purchase this product for any future needs.

Your products are so easy to use with the snap lids that don't leak if turned over. So good for people with arthritis. a lot of different sizes are handy.

My sons girlfriend bought something home for him from her mothers house in this. I had never seen this product before and thought, , ,how odd looking. Then, it went through the dishwasher and I turned around and used it myself in a pinch before she took it back to her mother. Her mother is "NEVER" getting it back! NEVER I SAY!

all i can say is that when they guarentee it to be water tight it is! i love that i can store soup in this upside down and side ways and no leaking whatsoever!

We originally became acquainted with these containers because we "inherited" one that someone gave our college-age daughter. After using it several times, we were very impressed with the quality and ease of use. We decided to order several for my husband's mother due to arthritis in her hands. While sealing really well, they are very easy to open and close. After receiving hers, we decided to go ahead and get more for ourselves! It's time to weed out the old containers in our cabinets and reorganize with these!

I've had my Sterilite containers for 3 years and am ready to buy more. This products is studier than most, can be carried to work in my bag full of other things and doesn't leak like other brands. My only disappointment is that the pop up steam release is fragile and has broken on several dishes.
