We get a lot of interference and the radios do not work that good.

I got these for use on a cruise ship, haven't tried them there yet and probably won't as our next cruise now will allow us to text and call each other onboard with an app installed. Tried these on a motorcycle trip with the earpiece shoved in under my helmet (not the most comfortable) and my wife in her car. Worked OK as long as we were within a half mile of each other with line of sight. Anything further and you are out of range. It picks up the weather channels OK, so maybe that is the 30 mile thing. Will be good for camping trips as long as we aren't too far apart, but not for much else. I would return them if I hadn't already trashed the packaging, may still try.

They claim to work for 30 miles Not even close I tested to see how far and it's a little over a half a mile. I'm not happy at all

I like the fact that you can use a battery pack or reg. AAA batteries. It also has a very stylish charging station

Great product for my grandkids to keep in touch with each other around the farm.

We bought these to use with our young son who bikes around the neighborhood. Good range and lots of features. I definitely wanted a set with a weather channel.
