This is old stock and I found it very clumpy and hard to spread over lawn. I have to break down all hard clumps to use. It is a good product, never had this issue before !

I used this right away because the temperatures were unbelievably hot. Seems to have helped my St Augustine grass because I see no new signs of heat damage.

One problem. I had two month old sprouting of grass...
One problem. I had two month old sprouting of grass seeds from a seed mat and I didn’t see where it addressed when to use it for new grass do I used it with the appropriate Scott’s spreader at the recommended setting and it burned a lot of it causing it to die. Light watering was done every day, also. Could this sort of thing be addressed in the directions for use?

Questionable product
Unfortunately, when I got home the bag was very hard and solid. Almost like a bag of concrete. Not sure this bag was very effective and may have been outdated.
