This product has been a bit of a disappointment. First off it is two different color whites. This is not easy to see in the manufacturers picture but have a look at the one I attached. The blades are pure white while the motor body is ivory. Lucky for me the ivory matches my ceiling color but I think they shouldn't have a multicolored fan or they ought to at least tell you about it. another annoying thing is the non standard battery in the remote, and that the remote has SIX Speeds. I cant understand why because all of them are slow. Lastly I am disappointed in the amount of air this fan moves. This is an $800 product and it isn't worth that price. At that kind of money you should get a little better quality. I also called tropos air in florida. It rolled right to voicemail I left them a detailed message and they never called back...at $800 you would think you would get quality and customer support but you dont

Installation was pretty simple. It looks great and is almost silent! We placed it is our great room to push the warm air down to the living area, works great!

I spent 6 months looking for a fan that was at least 84 inch. I was ready to buy one from a lighting store for $300.00 more when I looked on line to see what H D might have. $300.00 less, moves more air with a higher wind speed. Install was simple, it's well designed and works perfectly. What's not to like.

It just does'nt move a lot of air

I have installed hundreds of ceiling fans in my life and had maybe 4 that didnt work and 2 of those were this brand Both had remote control issues but the company did replace them with no questions and so far no otjer issues. Problem was they were 20ft in A frame ceiling and that was a pain to deal with

It moves a good bit of air (not as much as i expected) but if you put LED bulbs in the dimmer featiure doesnt work. It only works with incandescent (and who wamts to use dinasour bulbs) and it does not put out enouhh light like i was told when i bought it:

I am very happy with the fan and I will be even happier when it is hanging correctly. I purchased one of Home Depot's 6 ' drop down poles to hang the fan on and it is not the right kind. It is threaded at the bottom. The Troposair Fan must be hung with one of their brand's drop downs which has the holes at the bottom. Because I had it installed with the other one first it is hanging a little sideways and I will have to pay an electrician extra to come back out and hang it on the correct type of pole. You must get the pole from Troposair, not Home Depot.

Like Mike, bought one for my screened in porch, 12 foot ceiling, blades 10 feet from the floor. It moves air, but has almost no velocity, e.g. no cooling effect. 6 speeds, agree with Mike, why bother.

Don't buy this fan for outdoor use. Turns too slowly to move any air. Has 6 speeds but why bother? Low is a whisper and even high is too low. Doesn't move the air at all. Had to buy an $80 floor fan just to cool the patio! Should have bought 2 of those and saved my money. Very disappointed.
