I’m an experienced contractor of 24 years. The system is not easy to work with, especially in windy conditions. I also have serious concerns regarding its longevity. The system also lacks some needed installation flexibility to work as intended for my installation. Customer service did not apply. The product was ordered online.

Quality product that was relatively easy for my two contractors to install, although the online video instructions were different than the instructions included with the product.

Husband/wife self-installed the troughs under a 15-year old 18'x18' plain...
Husband/wife self-installed the troughs under a 15-year old 18'x18' plain deck to keep brick patio dry 8' below. Replaced the decking with 38 Trex Enhance Basics square-edge planks. The 16"oc joists weren't perfectly aligned, yet were enough to allow drainage. 12 15' troughs and 12 3' troughs drain into each downspout. We did a thoro trial trough "install" on the garage floor to ensure we would install the project correctly onsite. We did not install troughs in the far left and right sides of the deck because of railing post support obstructions. Extended the 12 downspouts a few inches each so we had the room to install the 18' Amerimax vinyl k-shape gutter system on the joists' support beam. The entire project took 7 8-hour days onsite: roughly 1 to remove/dispose old decking; 3 to install RainEscape; 3 to cut and screw 38 planks with TrapEase3 self-drilling screws; and 1 to install gutter. We were lucky with warm dry weather - October 2021. We are ages 73 and 69.

nice system for keeping things dry under the deck
this system was really easy to install, and keeps everything under the deck dry. the trim sections of the drain funnels are already scored, so you can cut them, or tear on the score line.

Poor communication on my Late order

Great addition to your deck.
If you are building a new deck or replacing the decking this product is a great addition to add more usable dry space under your deck. The install is a bit more time consuming than shown in the videos. Two people makes the job much easier. Its well worth the cost.
