1st timer but installed perfect
I had zero experience with flooring but I am pretty handy. I had no trouble at all but I did watch their install videos and how to deal with door jams on youtube first. You'll definitely want their tapping block and a pull bar to use where the tapping block won't fit. They sell the ultra tapping block on HD for $10. I also used a rubber mallet on the short side seams. Doing that, the seams are not visible. My biggest concern was how much this stuff expanded and contracted as they call for 1/8 to 1/4 inch space against the walls. I wanted to fully silicon the baseboard to the floor so the bathroom was 100% water proof. I was worried if I locked the baseboard to the floor it would pull the baseboard or silicon off. I used extra flex silicon and sealed every seam and gap. Worked great, I've had no issues. I found using a jigsaw was much easier for me to make the cuts. I had problems holding the square still when scoring a cut with a knife. I also used a dremel to cut the circle hole for the toilet.

    Great product!
As far as experience goes, I'm a DIY who has (for the first time) recently installed another type of luxury vinyl flooring on a kitchen floor (took me a week). I just installed this product on a powder room floor and it took me a day. This product has a higher quality look and feel in comparison but it is pricier than other competing products. Installation is easy as long as you read the instructions and understand the installation technique to use. I can see how it can be frustrating otherwise and it could also potentially damage the locking mechanism if the technique is not properly applied. Sharp scoring blades are a must! Overall, I'm happy with this product where I installed it. For a much bigger area, I would seriously consider other alternatives especially if you have a limited budget.

    Not difficult to install
I was hesitant to purchase based on the mixed reviews but the price was good and I took a chance. The most important part of the process is definitely prep work. A sound smooth subfloor is ideal & necessary. The product does have a fair amount of flexibility, but I can see an uneven subfloor creating issues with the seams. The simplefit end joints make it a breeze to install but they seem vulnerable to lifting if not properly installed. A tapping block is a must have for a clean install. The flooring cuts easily with power miter box, table saw and a jigsaw. The finished floor looks good, feels good and is easy to clean. Also seems very durable.

    Great and Beautiful flooring.
We had some water damage and had to have carpet ripped up and decided to replace it with Aegean Travertine Natural Resilent Vinyl Flooring. We did hire a contractor to do the work and they were done with the entire area (see pictures) in no time. When we told them what we were going to replace the carpet with they were thrilled. They have worked with this type of flooring before and were thankful that we decided to go with this.

Product is a good quality product but installation is not as easy as advertise.
The product pass all my stain test (Vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup...etc). Walking on the product feels hard, may be tough on people with feet problem. Installation is not as easy as advertise according to the installer. Make sure use non-rubber backing place mate on the vinyl floor, if not, the floor may stain.

    Terrible
This is the worst floor we have ever installed. This is not easy at all. We finally got the hang of it after a full day. Half our floor looks good the other half horrible. I would not recommend this to anyone and certainly not someone who is not extremely handy.

      Vinyl Tile Flooring
The vinyl tile looks nothing like the advertisement so I was very disappointed.
