I got through half my project and tried to order more only to fine out they have been discontinued. just my luck...

These screws worked great for installing 4" Brazilian Cherry flooring near to walls where my flooring stapler could not reach. Because Jatoba is such a dense wood, I had to pre-drill to avoid splits. However, the result was cleaner than top nailing, which was usually necessary only for the last row. Elsewhere I used screws instead of nails or staples where I needed more control to adjust for slight warping or slight differences in board widths between adjacent boards.

used it on prefinish floor. a lot of predrilling but easy to take planks off. bought better drillbit than the one in the box. screw may be good in projects where small head is needed.

This product is top quality and is great for laying down hardwood floors. However the insert bits that are used to install the screws strip very easily and I had to manually screw them in instead of using a drill.
