Customer Reviews for Bare Ground Tire Grip

Purchased 3 cans of this stuff. I sprayed 2 truck tires and let sit for 15 minutes. Drove to my shop 5 miles away and checked the tires. All the spray was gone. Tire tread was no different than prior to application. It may help to get you unstuck, but the effectiveness will be gone very shortly.

We've not had weather which would require Bare Ground Tire Grip. But according to the majority of reviews found on the internet, this product works. Of course there are some reviews which negate the positive, but like anything, there are going to be those whom didn't use a product according to directions. Picked up several cans to keep in various vehicles for when the season of snow & ice return. It's like insurance. Best to have than not, especially when you need it.

I have used this product for quite a few years I live on a gravel road that can get pretty icy in the winter and this product keeps me from sliding around.

I spray all four of my tractor tires to help grip and have traction on my snow covered Driveway. It really helps me from spinning my wheels and sliding all over.

Great product, do not store in your vehicle, I advise you keep in a bag with a needle and cloth to clear out the nozzle after each use, spray on; let sit for 3 minutes and your good to go.

Seemed to work well on lightly iced roads that were somewhat slippery. It was hard to tell on roads where it had snowed although it seemed to help. The unknown is at what point did it wear off. I would try it again.

It could be great if the spray push button is easier to push down.

Overall rating poor. Did not meet my expectations. This order was made to replace my first order which arrived with a broken nozzle. This order arrived with the protective cap busted up. I don't have a clue if the product works because I sent it back. Will not order it again.

The picture on the web site shows TYRE Grip, but the product thqat comes is TIRE Grip which is an inferior product and made by a different company. I had trouble with this product years ago when another internet company did the same false advertising. Do nbot buy this product. TYRE Grip is the real thing not TIRE grip

Good stuff

We use this for a bit of a different application. We boot our horses for hoof protection and spray the outside of the hoof wall with this before putting on the boot. The stickyness of the spray helps the boots stay on. Works great !!

Got Tire Grip, not Tyre Grip. Not sure if honest mistake, bait-and-switch, or product formulation has changed but this stuff is junk in my opinion. Threw it away. First (and last?) time I ordered on line from HD. Don't get it wrong, love and the stores.

Before using Tyre Grip, the front end would slip left while stopping or pulling off in snow or ice I spun out twice last year, once on the freeway. It became a liability to drive in the snow and ice as the car didn't handle well in the winter. With Tyre Grip, I can safely start, stop without swerving right or left. I can stop without sliding very far. No spin outs even driving in the snowbelt of Ohio to and from work. I would strongly recommend it.
