The Redi base is very nice. It is easy to use and a HUGE timesaver. Would have been a 5 star except the epoxy that is supposed to come with it for the tile was missing from my order???

We went from tub enclosure to shower only and wanted to tile the floor. This was pricy but filled the need. We hired the plumber to set it as code required a larger drain going from tub to shower and not confident with that much plumbing. When he came to set it we realized we had an extra inch in back and had to fill in wall or leave a gap in front of threshold as floor was the only thing we didn't replace. Even reading reviews about how much space the threshold takes up, we were a little disappointed that we goofed with measurement. A 30 inch base is really more like a 27 in shower and we sure could have used that extra inch. It seems very durable and sure it won't leak, but narrower than I would have liked.Just a warning, measure very carefully.They do make a 31 or 32 in depth
