The sink looks very nice and is very functional. My best friend had bought one and it looked so good I got one for my kitchen. The only Problem: after spending most of the day installing the sink (two trips to HD/Lowes for plumbing parts), the right side strainer drain leaked. It would not seat properly in the bored hole. I tried plumber’s putty according to the instructions that came with the new strainer (twice) and it still leak. So then I tried silicone. Nothing would work. After close examination, I found that the hole was bored off center and would not allow the strainer to seat properly. The next day, I returned the sink to Home Depot (it had taken 10 days for them to ship it to me). I could not wait another 10 days so I went to Lowers and bought the Hartland cast iron sink, looks almost the same except the bowls are the same size and it only has 4 holes. The Hartland is an in stock item. Since it only has 4 holes, in order to mount my RO water faucet, soap dispenser, dish washer drain and my Koehler Curette faucet (amazing) that I also ordered from HD, I had to turn the faucet handle forward or parallel to the center divider in the sink. It works fine that way because moving the lever left or right for hot/cold water is normal as opposed to forward and back (hot is to the right and cold to the left though). PROS: sink is very light and easy to work with. It looks marvelous. Easy to install (will probably require some reorganizing of plumbing under the sink). The large and medium bowl and 5 holes make it very functional. CON: Manufacture Quality Control. I don’t blame Home Depot for the problem I encountered.

Researched a lot of sinks on line-and thought this was a good looking sink with all the features-great for the price. Must say was very disappointed that after only 2 weeks there were scratches in the sink! I don't do dishes in sink, maybe set a bowl or cup before putting in dishwasher. I bought this because it stated scratch/stain/chip resistant. Contacted company only to have them say it has lifetime warranty.Nice, but who pays for the un install and re install of new one. Sink should have held up way past 2 weeks! It is lightweight and very nice design-just wish it was made up of a harder finish. If you are buying to use daily-I wouldn't. Buy a cheaper sink.

You won't break your back dropping it in. Don't be afraid to use too much caulk to set it in.

I love the way this sink looks in my kitchen! The high gloss black is truly beautiful, as is the style and intricate detail. The basin on the right side is very deep so there's plenty of room for washing large pots. However, I found out the hard way that the finish scratches pretty easily. The very first night after it was installed, I scratched the bottom while washing the ceramic liner to my crock pot. The care and cleaning instructions state that scratches can be removed by applying a liquid based car polish. It helped, but it didn't completely remove the scratch. In hind sight, I wish that I would have applied a coat or two of the car polish right from the start. That said, this sink makes quite a statement and I highly recommend it for it's great look. If, however, you need a sink that can stand up to a lot of abuse, this might not be the right one for you.

It installed quickly and easily. The sink it replaced was flush-mounted and this self-rimming, lightweight sink dropped right into the existing hole without modification. My wife loves the shiny, stylish look. It stays clean and still looks new.
