Customer Reviews for Klein Tools Test Lead Set

These use the ubiquitous 4mm banana plug which should fit most meters. Wire length is a generous 37". The probe itself is about 5" (incl. metal tip). The vinyl/PVC/etc. insulation used on the wires does NOT like the cold, so limit the degree you bend them in those conditions or they'll crack. My set uses screw-on alligator clips, NOT the cheaper push-on type, Klein is, unfortunately, bundling the push-on style clips with some of their meters now, so that may change with this product.

I bought this set mostly for the screw-on alligator clips, I was so tired of my old set that had slip on clips which kept falling apart all the time. Below are some pics of the test leads & clips, the covers of the test tips pulls off exposing the threads for the alligator clips to screw onto. The wires are well insulated and the probes are comfortable in hand. I have other Klein products and they have never let me down. So do yourself a favor and step up to screw-on clips! They basically force you to buy the test lead set. The ones they come with the metal tips are so short

I needed a set of replacement leads for my "Port Cargo" multimeter. I was worried that this set wouldn't work but it worked perfectly! Pretty durable and the alligator clips come in very handy.

Home Depot delivered the leads I needed quickly and at a reasonable price, allowing me to get my meter working correctly.
