This is an affordable, functional table set. By no means is it high quality or sturdy, but for the price it's a good deal. It was fairly easy to assemble, although attaching the seat cushions to the stool frames is a little dodgy. I bought two of these table sets and two of the four seat cushions are screwed in tightly - the other two did not screw in completely. High volume or heavy (as in not gentle) use would probably result in a breakdown sooner rather than later. So as a primary table set, this is probably not what you want. But as a secondary table set, or a study area or a snacking area or occasional use, this is a great choice based on the price point.

At first I thought I was getting a good deal for just under $100 bucks but after the nightmare assembly of the stools (nothing lined up and a wooden dowel snapped inside the dowel joint because the barrel nut would not properly align, forcing me to take it apart and try again repeatedly), and the fact that a little bit of water warped the cheap laminate finish (I've used $11 window film that had much better quality) as well as chipped away in the front due to the water spill. It's worth $20 at best (assembled). The eyesore has sat for over a year and can't be used. I use it for the table only until I toss it and have to cover the top until then (or re-laminate it with some Wilsonart that can hold up and look nice) because the top is ugly due to the chipping and warping that occured from a minimal amount of water that spilled on it. The stools are unsturdy. I am underweight and don't trust them. I can't see an average person safely be able to sit on the flimsy, shoddy things. I have bought some home furnishings things from The Home Depot. My TV console, canopy bed and rugs have all been fine, but this thing is not worth the money or effort. If you want something cheap, but decent, go to a flea market and hope you don't see this thing there. Haha.

Good value.. well-made... low price is no indication of it's quality. I like it as it meets my need for a kitchen counter height dining table.

This is an excellent table set, IF you get the correct hardware in the box. After spending several hours trying to put it together without success, I called their customer service number and after being routed several times and given a few other numbers to call, I was finally put in touch with a manager who after hearing my issue, informed me it was likely the wrong hardware was in the box. He looked up the model and shipped out the correct hardware. It arrived a week later and the table and stools were assembled in about a half hour. The set looks and feels great. The quality appears to be excellent. Love using it. Perfect for small spaces. The table top has plenty of space for two. Glad I purchased!

For the money this is really nice looking and sturdy. It was exactly what I was looking for.

I am very happy with this Express bar table set item arrived fast I am 60 years old woman and I was able to put the pieces together and about 45 minutes it would have been a shorter time if I would had used the shorter screw instead of the longer screw at one point I am very pleased with the price and the product I am currently using it as a desk area but we'll be using it as a bar for backyard events.. Great price !!

This is a beautiful small table which is perfect for the space we had. It's sitting on carpet and still is very steady and was easy to put together.

I love the table. It was very quick and easy to assemble. The height makes it great for use as counter space when I am cooking, as well as a space saver as the stools fit under it. I actually plan to order a second one to put in our living room. It is small enough to fit against a back wall but big enough to use for dinner, homework etc. I was disappointed to find that it was damaged when we got it home. Home Depot was great and offered to send someone to pick up the damaged product and order a new one.

If you are needing a 3 piece bar height table with 2 bar stools LOOK NO FURTHER! I got this with the expectation it would probably be a rickety table with some shaky barstools but since we were only really going to use it for the occasional cup of coffee, for the price I went ahead and got it anyway. What a surprise to get this item and fnd that NOT only is it stable, but I would wager a 300 lb man couldn't get these bar stools to sway or creak! The entire 3 pieces is built so stable, you could EASILY mistake it for a $500+ dollar item from a furniture store. And the finish on the tabletop is so easily cared for. One wipe & it cleans up perfectly, no streaks or fear you have to be a slave to the wood surface. The straw color was not to our liking so spray painted them a "feather silver color"... Came out amazing! Will upload picture of it tomorrow : ) EXCELLENT buy!

We moved into our new apartment and our new kitchen is not an eat in kitchen. This table fit perfectly with the little room we had! Looks great, it was really easy to put together.

I have a one bedroom apartment a few hours away from my "real home" due to work travel. This little table not only was a great price but looks great. It was exactly what I was looking for and at a lesser cost than probably 10 other sites that I looked at.

My husband and I bought this for our teenage boys to use when we have company over. They use it everyday. Everyone of my friends and family members who have seen this, compliment the piece and are wowed by the price.

I got the tavern set to replace an Ikea table that I had in my kitchen. The Ikea table top was made from particle board and did not last over a year. It bubbled up from getting wet. I was happy to see that the Tavern set had a nice hard wood table top made from birch wood. It has a nice finish and looks good in our kitchen. My wife like it and when my Nanny came in the house her remark was "Wow, I like the new table!" and it was sincere. My only issue was that one of the pilot holes did not line up correctly on one of the stool legs. To solve the problem I got out my drill and just made the hole bigger and used a bigger washer. Other that that assembly was a breeze and when all put together the table is very sturdy.

Returned this item due to many issues/problems with numerous shipping delays.
