Great Product, Great Price
These wire connectors are quite large but I was able to get them into the tube for the short outdoor lanterns. I clipped off the wings to make them fit. You can bury them as well.
I took the wire out of one that I installed to see, they are filled with a sticky gel that completely covers all metal surfaces. They are not reusable for obvious reasons. Made in the USA. They don't require wires to be twisted together to install, but its advisable to twist each stranded conductor. They had no problem with 1-4 18/16/14ga wire and the probably 20-22ga lamp wire. Twist until you feel much resistance. making the gel flow into the connection. This product is actually covered by a patent and works very well.
They are supposedly a permanent solution, requiring a bit of extra splicing but will last a long time unlike the bite connectors which lose conductivity after a while being buried.
All my 25 lights are equally bright now. I can also use a very low power adapter for LEDs, and I don't lose electricity to wet grounds. The lanterns were prior connected with the bite connectors and some of them required tapping and nudging to stay on.For the price they are steal.
Unless you go solar(which isn't very bright) its worth the effort to install wired lights right.

Product is fine. Online Order Pickup Experience w/HD not so much

Took three trys - on three separate days - before there was a reasonable line at the customer service desk. One second try there were at least 6 people in line.

Works Great
These work great for outdoor low voltage landscape lighting. I saw the landscaper using them and picked some up for repairs and modifications. Excelent
