This is the sixth 48x48 window we have purchased from Home Depot and installed in our basement rehearsal studio. Just three more replacements to go as funds are raised. Thèse windows provide an excellent source of natural light while providing security and privacy. They are easy to install and maintain. I am very happy with how this window. It was installed in a bathroom to replace a non-operating window. The seal on the operating window could be better where it hinges. I will be purchasing another one of these windows to replace another bathroom window. It really brightens the bathroom!!!

First and foremost, this window is not 16" wide. It's actually 17-3/8". So if you intend it for a 16" opening, you are out of luck. I had to tear part of the window frame out in order to fit this in. A second point is that the window was not square. Now, this may have happened during shipping, but the entire left side and top of the window were bowed.

Beautiful windows. Straight forward install. Need to allow a full 24.50" for the install and a 48.5" for the height. Windows have plastic slide-in flanges for nailer strips which can be removed and replaced easily and lock securely into place. Absolutely delighted with these windows.

Replaced our old garage window with this glass brick window, and the compliments from our neighbors haven't stopped! A couple of them (both contractors) have asked for the specific information to order their own. Recently installed, so I can't comment on how it wears, but we love the look, the heavy-duty construction, and the vent option. Have plenty of strong help on hand. The glass brick construction is heavy! Would recommend this product strongly!
