We put it up on a pre-treated (moisture barrier over primed and painted green-board) wall, and although there were areas that didn't stick (they shipped 3 tubes of clear silicone and 1 tube of white silicone adhesive, as well as the double-sided tape that's on the back of each panel) it's mainly due to the green boards being out of plumb, and there's plenty of silicone to seal up the small gaps. This will work just fine. We installed the panels one at a time, and waited for each to set. Looks great!
