I bought these to cover a steep bank that I was tired of mowing. I killed all the weeds in early Spring and planted these a couple days later. I have to admit I was pretty disappointed for the first month. It looked like a bunch of weeds growing. Now it is the first of July and we are very happy with the garden. They have exceeded our expectations x 10. I did work hard tilling the soil with a rake before I planted them. I will definitely do this to some other spots on my property.

As other reviewers have noted, this product can, at first, seem disappointing. But we found that a bit of patience was well-rewarded. It wasn't until mid-June (in northeast Kansas) that we began to experience growth. Since then, we have been so pleased with our wildflower garden.

I've enjoyed most of the flowers, they've been blooming for months now. At first I was disappointed, these homely white flowers sprung up. My girlfriend called them weeds. Then some pretty orange flowers bloomed, but closed and died after 2 days. It was only then the small sunflowers began to bloom, but they were still not as pretty as I'd hoped for. That's when the pink periwinkles started the bloom, and they just keep-a-comin'. There's also this awesome succulent with vibrant pink blossoms (see pic). I haven't been able to figure out what it is, but it is gorgeous! Overall the experience and flowers are amazing! I recommend you stir things up. I noticed that most of the sunflower seeds were on the top (and grew in the first spot a spread seeds), and the periwinkles were closer to the bottom (grew like crazy in the mini flower garden I attached a picture of).

Nothing has come up yet, 3 weeks in. Very disappointed.

The bag is really not a shaker bag you have to open a bag and shake the seeds out there is not a screen to shake them out if you do not if you emptied it upside down everything would fall out at once

Nice big bags for a large area.

We planted these seeds in 3 individual flower beds and out in an open field...all it grew was weeds. Very bad product!!!

I mixed this bag with ferry-morse's hummingbird and butterfly mix and have seen great results so far. Lots of sprouts, just waiting for some flowers. I planted a little late but hopefully they come soon!

I wasn't expecting so much filler, and I think all of the seeds had irreversibly settled to the bottom of two bags. I shook the bags but in the end the 30 ft. sq. area that was "covered" only began to sprout in one 4 ft. sq. spot. One bag is supposed to covers up to 1000 ft.sq. but two bags can't cover 30 sq. ft. VERY disappointing.

Planted in a sunny area that gets good moisture, plus what i do when it doesn't rain for extended periods.All I got was some scraggly looking weeds and some small white flowers the size of a pencil head, and those were few and far between. You will not get what is on the packaging.

never again! I water, fertilize and nothing but weeds! i got 2 different bags and seeded the yard 1/2 & 1/2. The side these seeds went on are just weeds and I mean WEEDS! not even remotely flowers! the other side tall & blooming, this brand just plain junk.

Purchased four bags over a three month window. Even though I've followed the directions, keep it regularly watered, I get nothing but weeds...no flowers. I'll switch brands for wildflowers...never this brand again.
