Didn't care for it, although it is well made and good quality I didn't like the fact it was mirror like chrome and show smudges.

This, STUDIO 1 PHONE WALL PLATE - CHROME, is slightly different in color and design. It's not a problem for me however I thought I should mention it looks more like "mirror" and the "inset" rectangle lines are more defined. We like it overall and the install was quick. If it's a new install, the connects for the wire are super easy. If you are replacing a current phone /cat connection, you maybe able to use your current connection for an easier connection to the new wall plate. The mirror effect is actually more impressive and appears more higher-end. Looks great in an office!

This product is a Hampton Bay offering, a brand known for high quality and innovative designs. It is beyond good looking, high quality, and the wall plate they selected for it is beautifully finished in high luster mirror, and it is as rugged as they come. it is clearly a big jump in technology, quality, thoughtful design and style for both traditional telephone service uses as well as the relatively new “do it yourself” computer-based communications wiring market for the “connected” home environment. It features equipment that is far superior to the older screw terminal equipped telephone-only components that have been out there for years, are not designed for and not up to the much stricter signal quality demands of the latest computer managed audio, video and control circuits, and most of which are very sensitive to and will not tolerate noise, slow signal speed, and signal integrity degradation from the loose connections and corrosion older types are prone to. This more modern design also provides a noticeable improvement in standard telephone applications as well, so it is perfect for both. Today, the telephone companies are offering customers savings on their phone bills as well as saving themselves serious overhead on system maintenance by encouraging them to own and maintain the wiring on their own side of the outside telephone box themselves, as many of us do. We all know that the first thing you do when you suddenly have a dead or noisy line, is to pick up a screwdriver, track down and check all of those phone terminal blocks and outlets for the problem, which usually turns out to be a terminal screw that has vibrated loose or a connection that has become corroded due to dissimilar metals among the wires, screws and washers that all come together there. Servicing it and reassembly if necessary is fast and easy, and the electrical parts necessary to repair it, if that is ever necessary, are industry standard, and are available off the shelf in the Home Depot electrical and home automation department. Hampton bay has a nice selection of them available there also, not just this one, so have a look at them. I like them all very much, both for the style and the “techy” upgrade they represent.

The Amerelle polished chrome cat 3 studio 1 phone wall plate. This item is crafted from premium quality materials and yet adds a elegant appearance to any room. Comes with easy to follow instructions and lay out of wire placement. I used a small tipped flat head to place the wires in the slots before putting the snap clips on. The studio 1 phone wall plate in chrome from Amerelle looks nice and shiny. It includes all the hardware to install a phone jack with instructions for 4 conductors. The jack is a CAT 3 jack capacity for 6 conductors. The chrome face plate is nice and well made feels slightly heavy made of metal not plastic. The inner portion where the jack goes is plastic and is a standard insert which can accept other types of low voltage jacks.

But they discolor, warp, break, etc... I was remodeling and wanted to step up the quality of fixtures and other appointments. This all metal wall plate was perfect. The pictures don't do it justice. It added a touch of elegance, I know it is something you would hear in an ad but it really made a difference in the look of the room. Even the screws have the same finish as the wall plate. The plate can be used with most jacks, including the phone jack that comes with the plate. See photos. There is a manufactures warranty of one year, to be free of defects in material and workmanship.

Stylish, quality phone jack that installs very quickly and easily. The chrome finish on this plate is very elegant and feeling the weight of the metal, you can tell this is a quality unit. As opposed to many similar phone and network jacks, this one does not need a punch down tool, crimping tools or anything to attach the wires. You just place the wires in their respective slots and press on the cap that pushes the wires into the connector just as a punch down tool would have. It then stays on to protect the connections. Very slick, fast and easy. The only way it could be easier is if someone else did it. The jack is a CAT 3, so it can replace both 4 wire (solid colors) connectors and the 6 wire (striped colors) connectors. The standard phone jacks with 2 or 4 pins fit and work perfectly. I was a little leery of the design at first, having become accustomed to punch down style jacks, but this worked really well the first time and was so easy, Really impressive. We're really delighted with the results and highly recommend this quality jack.

It's a very well made heavy switch plate. The chrome plating is high quality. It is a little bit pricey though, but it looks nice in our bathroom.

The title says it all. I used them on a glass tile kitchen back splash. See photo.

Works on my bathroom mirror. I accidentally broke the glass piece and this was a suitable substitute.

This is a pretty well built wall plate. It is VERY shiny. Chrome not stainless steel. The modular telephone plug fits well but it is more grey than white (as seen in the picture) but this actually goes better with the plate than white would. Mounting was easy and is no different than any other modular system. The plate itself is sized well without being too big and it will cover the wall cutout with no problems. Good purchase.

The accent lines make this switch plate stand out

We really like the look of these switch and outlet covers. They are a contemporary chrome finish. They do show finger prints, so probably not for a house full of messy children. The photo on the webpage does them no justice.
