Love it

I expected a sturdy item and instead got one that doesn't even work.

No! It came with no instructions. So I googled the set up-000 but we when we tested it we could not get it to unlock. I returned to the store.

It works reasonably well but I have the following reservations: -- The number dials are very difficult to turn; they're slippery, and the tend to move together (i.e. moving one tends to move the one next to it, as well). This makes using it slightly aggravating. -- It's plastic, so it doesn't provide a lot of security. (I'm using it for a key that's not that important; I don't think I'd trust, say, my house key in it.)

Does the job!

The cable won't cinch down tight enough to stay over a doorknob. Cheap product could easily be broken into.

The portable Stor-A-Key Combination Lock is made of plastic and is a great design however used it for about 2 months with very minimal use and the lock broke. This would have been a much better product if it were made of metal and lasted, very disappointing.

We purchased two of these and both failed after the second time they were opened. One just wouldn't close again. The other we did manage to close, but it then wouldn't open so we had to break it open with pliers. Which was not difficult in the least. I didn't expect high security for the price, but certainly something with more than two uses.

The product is a great idea; however, it was only used 2 times before it jammed and the key was stuck inside. Taking back to HD with key inside to show before we have to break to open.

I have electronic door lock on rental condo, use this product to provide storage for key to access condo in case renter shows up and batteries fail on door lock, they can access key to enter condo.

We purchased 10 of these bad boys for some properties that needed accessed by different contractors. They seem okay until they suddenly refuse to open...the small button on the side would get stuck and we had to pull out a screwdriver to break into it and get the key out. Suck it up and buy the higher quality lockbox and save yourself the hassle.

I think this is a great little key holder at a good price. works perfectly for stashing a spare set of keys for the house or locking it to the car when i go to the beach so i dont have to worry about my key.

I like this product. It's great for holding a key. The only thing is you have to attach a small key ring or rubber band so the key doesn't get stuck in the box.

I took a star off because the lid is made of plastic and feels flimsy when closed. Otherwise, I like the adjustable cable, the resettable combination, the convenience and the price! Because the cable is removable, you can snake it through a screen door or other random object to put this wherever you want.
