I just received my door this afternoon and it arrived damaged. The door hinges were pulled away from the frame taking chips of wood when it pulled loose. I took several pictures but can only upload 1.

Exactly what I wanted ! The lock holes had to be bored out a bit more to work properly and the first door I ordered was damaged in transit but I understand these things happen .the only complaint I really have is how confusing it was to order the correct door … it was listed as a right hand outswing but every other company called it a left hand outswing but alls well that ends well I love it !!

Not a bad door. It will provide lots of light, and access to a new deck. That's all good. But there are disappointments: - The insulated glass seems thin, compared to other doors I see. - The door arrived with drywall screws sticking out the sides. The delivery driver said there are usually handles there to help move the door, but these screws seemed randomly-placed and got in the way.. - It was missing a couple of pads and a bracket -- after a call, the company quickly sent me those parts, and I appreciate that. - The company leaves out four hinge screws in manufacturing (top and bottom hinges, both doors) so a long screw can go in those holes and better secure the door. They provided 2 screws, silver - although the hinges and screws on the door are dark bronze. I added 2 more silver screws of my own. Bronze would have been nice. Four would have been helpful. - The deadbolt of the entry set won't go into the channel on the door without pushing hard on one door and pulling the other. I explained this to the company, and they didn't understand the issue. (The lack of fit is horizontal, not vertical.) I need to file out some aluminum to make it fit. Bottom line - I'll make friends with this door. It will be a big benefit to the house, and the issues are not major.. But design and execution seem incomplete. If I had bought a more expensive door, maybe I'd be happier.

Glass to nerow door a little cruked

I almost didn't buy these doors because I had read that some people had problems with the seal and others complained about a plastic threshold. We had no problems with the seal or leaking--even in rainy Florida (though we did have a skilled friend help us with the install). Our thresholds are metal (not plastic), and I like the contrast of the dark bottom seal against the white doors and floor. (We are still moving, so we haven't painted them yet.) We replaced a long window (140") with two sets of doors, and they fit perfectly--and totally transformed our room. I recommend contacting Steves & Sons directly for the rough cut measurements because the ones posted in both sets of HD specs are slightly wrong. (We didn't have even an inch to spare.) Really happy so far!!

Good door. A few frustrating aspects- instructions are not included for this door, there is no "plug" to keep the door shut during installation, and the installer has to insert dozens of screw covers which could have been done during production before shipping. For spending $1K on a door, these kinds of details should be expected to be addressed.

Upon arrival, we were happy with the door. Then our contractor installed it, and it won't seal between the weatherstripping and the door at the top/center of the door. You can see daylight through it and of course wind, etc. The bottom seals fine. This isn't something we can fix by adjusting anything so unfortunately we will be returning it. It's too bad I had to pay my contractor to put in a defective door and now I have to have him remove it and install a new one on my dime. Save yourself the money and headache of having to uninstall a return and get a different door/brand.

I made a mistake in the order, called HD in a day or two and they corrected my mistake, no hassles.

The door looked great, but unfortunately wasn’t the best quality. The door lock strike plates were loose and the factory screws were loose and too short. We had to upgrade strike plates and screws. Also on the door seal it was missing a piece and you could see daylight through the middle. Unfortunately we didn’t have any other option but to use door and fix the issues.

I love the door. It was exactly what I needed to be able to get my disabled friend in and out of my home safely.

(BOTH) Doors were warped and cracked like they had been left out in the elements. The door window trim has huge split/cracks. Cardboard, door surround, kick panel was fine so clearly it was assembled with faulty trim pieces.

We ordered this door once and it had problems before we received it. Home Depot ordered us another door and that one came in with very slight cosmetic damage. So we kept it and used it. We like the look of the door. It was simple for me (experienced handyman) to install. This was an inexpensive door for an entry which will NOT be in a high traffic location. So we are very satisfied with the product.

This French-Door is unusual because the opening from the living room of my 200-year-old house in Central New Jersey was only 48" wide. As a licensed renovations contractor I can say the unit was very well packed when I picked it up at the Westhampton Store. I had to do extensive work on the rough-opening as well as the interior and exterior trim, but now that the door is installed the difference in the noise-level and heat-retention is everything I hoped. Good job Depot and Stevens.

The door was warped and didn't close all the way at the top. It was not noticed until it was installed. I'm not satisfied, this was a ton of money for a door that doesn't even seal all the way. Piece of crap. Also when I was notified that it was there, I called Home Depot to ask about picking it up. They assured me it wasn't there and I needed to wait till tomorrow. I went up there anyway and sure enough it was there. I got it, it's warped. Bad customer service and bad product.

No problems with the install. The door functioned perfectly once the install was completed. The structure is above average and the door is attractive and functional. One small issue, the latch for the bottom of the stationary door had no place to go in the threshold so we had to create something.

Received the door in good condition but with some dents that we had to fix.

Did not come with the brick molding. Had to buy that additional

I’m so happy with this door! It replaced an interior door that was incorrectly installed in a remodeled house.
