My door frame was cut wrong. If I install the frame straight ...then the door locks does not line up. The lock is about 1/4" off. I needed to install the frame 1/4" off and tilted. So now the top right side of the door hits the frame.

Excellent solid door and stylish too. Brad nailed my trim on the front frame. Slid into rough opening. perfect fit. nailed 'er down on the hinge side. micro-adjusted door latch side so the holes lined up and air tight seal around door...cut spacers for rough opening and nailed 'er down. Prehung frame made my very first door hanging a pleasure.Very good weather seals around door also. Make double sure your rough opening is LEVEL AND SQUARE IN EVERY WAY. You'll have plenty of time to square up because it took a full (covid) MONTH to get this door. My new shed project is looking top notch with a 42in wide entrance. Steves & Sons TY.

Great door. Bought it for a loft/gym in our barn. Balanced easy. SUPER fast shipping. Got in about 2 wks ahead of schedule.

Door arrived as scheduled and the packaging from the supplier seemed robust enough to protect the door. Because of the packing and framing around the door, I couldn't / didn't open and inspect upon receipt. Once I got home and unpacked the door, I discovered the damage. The door was scratched and dented on a lower panel. Given the door was being used for an outside bathroom and given the fact that to return and re-order would require another three week wait, I decided to install and use the door anyway. I am very disappointed to say the least that for $300 I got defective merchandise.

It was very easy to prepare for and install this pre-hung door and add a Schlage lock and deadbolt. This is a solid product with good insulation. The minor modification we had to make was to chisel out the depth for the dead-bolt plates. Overall a really great purchase.

The door came in perfect condition. Installation went well. I appreciate the quality of the product. We have Steves and Sons doors all through our home.

stores don't stock outswing doors so I ordered online and had it delivered to store. came in a timely manner, very well packaged for protection and all features were correct.

we ordered this door in line January 10it will be ready February 26. to much to wait if are a contractor??

Door is good quality and good value. The door looks nice installed. I did experience some problems however. Door arrived at HD store on a pallet and required unpacking on the floor of the store. There was minor damage on the face of the door by the time I got it home (dent in the face of the steel plate). It is unlikely that I damaged the door in transit based on the location. I have chosen to live with the minor defect, but my larger concern is that the steel plate may be easy to damage in normal use. The deadbolt plate required chisel to enlarge on the frame. The frame is very soft wood which is easy to install but also does not feel particularly strong. Once installed with foam the frame feels more sturdy.

So far I love the door. Too bad Home Depot couldn’t install it.
