Great tub for the right price. I didn't need shims or anything else. It went into place with no complications. I had made prior modifications to floor to ensure no problems. I also installed a surround tub wall from sterling and that also fit perfectly. I thought of putting tile up, but I have children that love to play in the shower for long periods.. Thank you Home Depot.

Good quality tub for the price
Very happy with the tub. Good quality and easy to install.
The lip works well with cement board and tile.
I set it in a mortar bed just to be sure it wouldn't crack over time.

Front tub face support broke easily at mounting screws! We repaired!! Not able to make tub face fit uneven floor slope on old existing floor! Due to the black plastic support and no edge of front that was past this black support!! The shower surround was also delivered with a small crack on center

The first time received the tub was cracked, didn't realize until we picked up and got all the way home. So had to wait another two weeks. Was told I would get a discount for all my trouble. The second tub was fine.

No, it arrived with a broken tub. It was so big I had it delivered. Now to return it , I had to rent a Home Depot truck to take it back and pick up a floor model. I will never order anything on line from Home Depot again!!

I had to order this tub as it was not...
I had to order this tub as it was not in stock. Tub shipped in adequate packaging with no damage. Hired a plumber to install it and he said it was a good quality tub. This is for a basement bathroom with very little use so I wanted something cost effective, and this fit the bill.

This is a good product for a plastic tub & surround. It's relatively rugged and installs with no glitches. One problem is that the shelving insets are too short to hold shampoo bottles and such.

They put the wrong color grout on the tile, did...
They put the wrong color grout on the tile, did not seal it, tore 2 holes in the Sheetrock, fixed 1 of them, came back 3 times and it’s a mess! Will never use Home Depot again for Home repairs

Installed my first one and so far so good. The walls can be a little fragile when handling but one in they seem fine. I didn’t give it 5 starts yet since I don’t know how it will wear over time. I would likely buy again.

Sterling has always been a great product, this tub is no different. As a remodeling contractor, I always suggest using this cost effective quality product line to my customers on a budget. It is the perfect alternative to the "standard steel tub", which in my opinion, is not an option any longer. There are thousands & thousands of steel tubs installed across this country, mainly because they are so cheap and available.
Spend a few dollars more and get a superior Sterling product over a steel tub on a budget project.

I ordered my tub online as the partner for the surround I purchased. The first tub I ordered from a different chain came shipped in a box for a left hand feed which was correct but when opened was actually a right hand feed. Ordered the second exact tub online at Home Depot which had the shortest shipping time. However, my remodel was still delayed close to ten days. Second tub was received with a small defect and needed to be refinished by an expert contracted out by Kohler. My experience with this tub has been somewhat of a nightmare!

Perhaps it was just my luck, but the tub arrived with a hairline crack that appeared to be a manufacturing defect. Although a little on the plastic side, the tub looked good and the price was attractive. I'm giving it a "fair" (2 stars) because minus the defect this tub would have been a great value. I'm in the process of returning it now (a pain made less painful by HD easy return) and looking for something else. Sterling: I get that no manufacturing process is perfect but I honestly don't know how this tub got past your quality control.

You get what you pay for
We are gutting the kids bathroom so decided to purchase a cheap bathtub. This arrived cracked in 2 places and one appeared to be patched. My husband took this back to the store and didn't even receive a discount for the inconvenience of borrowing a truck to haul it back to the store. Poor customer service and poor quality. Went to Menards and got an excellent bathtub for our kids. Spend a little extra when you are remodeling. It's worth it.
