These work fabulous giving two inches additional clearance when oening door to the room. Perfect for wheelchair or walker. Love them.

These installed easily and gave clearance for a wheelchair to be able to access the room. Worked out exactly as I wanted!

Worked as advertised. Install was fairly simple. The door now swings clear of the frame. Hinge is very visible on the inside (where door swings,) which could be a little unsightly for some people.

The hinge easily adds 2" to the opening. Will now buy for another door. Very happy that I found this!

The brass sheen glows. It's a quality product and I was thankful for the advise given by my local Home Depot.

Mother-in-Law, who lives with us just had a stroke and is home from the hospital/rehab. Even the narrower "transport" chair won't fit thru the Bathroom Door, so we had to transfer from chair to walker to move into and out of the Bathroom. The swing-clear hinges solved the problem and allow her to enter the doorway while in her transport chair. Simple, effective solution to the problem!! One warning to potential purchasers: These hinges are "heavy duty" and are thicker than standard equipment and do not have radiused corners; but have square corners. The original hinges had radiused corners so the mortised "pockets" in the door jamb and on the door (total of six pockets) have to be re-mortised to have the square cut-out. It's a little extra chisel work; but well worth the effort to get the hinges installed.
