I have purchased Stanley doors in the past and really never found one I thought was as good for the price. I considered them my go to door and didn't really think about it. After this door, I will be doing more shopping the next time and will not automatically recommend them.
The overall appearance is very nice, works well, seals well with the exception noted below.
It is a bit taller than standard doors because of the higher threshold. If your opening is 82-1/2 tall, you will have a problem. If you are at 82-7/8 (standard 92-5/8 stud with 11-1/4 cut off for a 2x12 header), you will be a bit snug, but probably ok.
There is no cross brace to hold the door square during installation. They depend on an insert in the lock hole and plastic banding for shipping. This must be removed prior to installation.
It is a bit more difficult to keep the outside lined up with the sheathing, as there is no brickmold. A bit easier to shim, since they can go through and be cut off later.
The holes for the latch and deadbolt did not line up as expected. The latch works, but is near the bottom of the hole. The deadbolt hit the bottom of the hole in the jam. I had to chisel a bit out of the jam to get it to work. This proves Stanley's comments on other models about being and installation problem is not entirely true.
The hard plastic rain guard at the bottom is a bit too long and hits on the magnetic seal on the lock side holding the magnetic seal away from the door. I am working on trimming this, but it is very hard and I don't want to scratch the door.
The coating the put on the jams is very hard and brittle. I am sure it performs great in their weather tests when it is in pristine condition. The problem is any bump or dent will chip if off down to wood. It is fairly thick, so will probably take some kind of putty to fill the void or paint will not look anywhere near right.
I have installed many doors and this is the first one I have had that the very top hits on the lock side. The rest of the gaps look OK. I don't ever recall being able to have the shims at the head jam and top hinge force the frame into the door at the lock side like this one. I should be able to do some more head jam shim adjustment to fix this, but it does seem odd, almost like the head jam is a bit narrow.

Stanley should stick to making tools and improving on their doors if they continue to make them. Looks nice but had a hard time
fitting the locks in and was missing some of the parts and also the lip on the bottom stick out and easy to trip on.

It is a pretty door with the glass panel however it dents very easily and the weather stripping is cheap. Also had to purchase a threshold extension separate. My contractor was not happy installing this door.

disappointed
bought this door a month ago. Sweep is poor quality and one of the rows of rubber was half off before installing. All 3 rows on the sweep were off the door by end of 1 day. Called Stanley and they are sending a new sweep. Expected a better quality product for the money spent.

Purchased Again
This is our second Stanley Door. I like the magnetic weather stripping and metal clad faces. The door installed easily (for someone with carpentry experience). I also like the sound as the door opens and closes, sort of like a freezer door. I didn't like having to cut through some of the strike side jamb edge seal to install the latch keepers but I saw no other way. I also replaced the 3/4" hinge screws in the jamb with 4 inch screws and installed a 1/4" aluminum plate on the living side of the dead bolt. The wood in the door and jamb is very soft and requires no pilot holes for screws. We now have a great door that is well sealed and far superior to the 1950s door it replaced.

Dear Valued Home Depot Customer,
We reached out to MFG for more information and below is their response.
" "We are glad your installation went smoothly!
The sound of the door closing is our magnetic weatherstripping that seals the door like a refrigerator.
In addition, you were correct in cutting through the strike jamb edge seal. We are looking into pre-preparing the door strike on future doors thanks to reviews like yours.
Thank you for the honest and detailed review! It is clear that you have good carpentry knowledge and we are sure this will be a great help to other Home Depot shoppers. "
Thanks,
