I bought this because I liked the look and wanted the larger size for my increased package deliveries but I was concerned about installation. I “asked a question” and got answers within 24 hours. It ended up being super easy to install within 2 hours (to allow for concrete cure time) and is very sturdy. For installation you need: this post, the matching mailbox, 75 lbs of Quikrete Fast Setting Concrete (no mixing required), a shovel, two gallons of water (for the concrete), a tape measure, and a level. I used magnetic house numbers on the post from a craft store to avoid having to drill holes into the metal. It looks great!

It went in easy and it looks nice. I used the centennial box.

We bought this post and installed it in a few hours. The hardest was digging the hole in ground. We have a lot of decomposed granite and it is not fun However, and hour with the post hole digger did the trick. We used a bag of quickcrete and set the post and used the rest of it to fil in the center of the post. It is rock solid. We waited a day for it to cure and then mounted the mail box on it in just minutes

Very stout product. Worked perfectly with my Epoch Designs Mail Boss box. Now my post and my mailbox are built like a tank.

the products you have in your stores are mostly flimsy plastic & do not hold up for the most part - post's are'nt long enough for postal regulations & the prices for most of the plastic posts are expensive & do not compare to the metal one that i had to order because home depot won't put it in their stores -

Heavy and perfect for a mailbox post.

We love our secure mailbox. Wanted one a long time and finally splurged on it.

Purchased on line. Bought mail box and post at the same time Did not need the pole adapter that it showed as needed,

well worth the cost when upgrading the mailbox; solid steel with a great finish and welded top plate; I also bought the matching secure mail box and it aligned with the top plate perfectly; comes with x4 bolts with washers and nuts (all 1/2" SAE); well packaged so it will look factory new when it arrives, even with some rough handling of the box

Just put it up. So far so good. It's very sturdy and holds the mailbox up.

Fit our need for a stable cement based mailbox perfectly. Very pleased.
